We spent a few days in Blackpool and were surprised not to find the stereotypical bucket and spade resort of yesteryear. We loved the choice of accommodation for families, singletons and businesspeople. There is a wide range of stylish hotels and guest houses, all reasonably priced for such a popular resort and we stayed at the Winter Garden Conference Hotel.
