I bought a used 95k in mint condition and discovered that it was only putting out 9.5ft lbs, since I am an Engineer I stripped it down and found that some one had shortened the spring. Obviously having taken it to pieces (very easy) i was able to see just how well engineered the gun is, and it is very well engineered.. I have ordered a v Mach tuning kit which I will put in and re-assemble and report back after completion and testing. So far I have to say the gun is miles ahead of the BSA... (read more)

I recently visited the local gun range and had previously set my heart on purchasing either a 97K or 80k (even though they are a little on the heavy side) as every review for these rifles are superb. One of the guys on the range was shooting with a 95k with silencer and hitting every target with ease. He owned a number of different air guns for both hunting and target shooting and explained that he would choose this gun over all other springers due to the weight and accuracy. I gave it a try... i have had all the weihrauch spring gun range and just love the HW95k it fits perfect for me with a healthy 11.3 with rws super domes witch are hard hitting the silencer is good too as it does take muzzel crack down i think the noise only comes from the action till its bedded in and i have had mine v-mach tuned after 3 years of ownership and makes this brill airgun to a even beter one but i must say standard these are fantastic for the money very accurate well balanced and the build quality... Recently i sold my Theoben evo .22 which was not even grouping 2 inches at thirty yards.& after reading lot of review of weihrauch springers, i decided to go for 95k.just because of its weight.
What a choice i made it is is simply the best, great trigger after trying few different pellets i found the crosman premium the best suited. getting grouping of one inch at 40 yards.very deligted. (read more)

excellent build, rekford trigger is awesome very light, tight groups can be had if you hold gun correctly, i found no pressure on back or front of gun gives best results. not really pellet fussy, accupells group well i find.
if your after a springer this has it all, mine has hardly any recoil is very quiet with silencer mine is the hw95k version. also very light
You wont find a better break barrell!

Wanted a decent second airgun to complement my 97k. I had been shooting rabbits with a friend (me with the 97k him with my old xocet). I was hitting the rabbits easily at 30-40m, he was missing. So after some research on the web and a visit to my gunsmith walked out with a Weihrauch HW95k. It is cheaper than a 97k and the quality is not as good. But the accuracy with accupells easily matches the 97k. It is a bit light and wavey so you will have to get used to it.That comment only makes... (read more)

the Weihrauch HW95k is a very well made rifle. just what you would expet from Weihrauch, it is a vert accurate rifle even at 30 yards.
Mine is a .177 and I use accupell pellets and have an ags 3-9x40 scope, which make a good combination for hunting. it's also quite for a springer with the Weihrauch silencer. (read more)

I have owned a Weihrauch HW 95K for over 3years, it is a lovely gun to use, not the most accurate at 30yrds but is still VERY credible. The gun is light, comfortable and a nice to handle. I have had no trouble with mine, and it is used often. Mine has an aftermarket silencer and a Hawke 3-9 50 scope with hawke sport high mounts, it is a lovely mix. (read more)

The Weihrauch HW95k was my first air rifle and I found it very easy to use. I opted for the .177 version with the purpose of target shooting rather than hunting. Though I imagine it's easily as capable as the .22.
I found the accuracy brilliant with a scope, it's very powerful, it looks great, and due to the solid German engineering will probably last forever. Enough said really. I would recommend it, you won't be dissappointed! (read more)

The Weihrauch HW95k is a very impressive gun. I have killed rabbits, hares, rats, herons and loads of other vermin on my land. it shoots hard and fast , especially with my nikko stirling crown scopes. after i modified my gun with a ox spring you notice the difference in power before my modifications it usually took 2/3 pellets to kill a hare from 50 yards but now it takes one ,or two. i would highly recommend to buy this gun but do not install a ox Mainspring unless you have a firearms... An outstanding springer and my favorate air rifle, given the right combnation of shooter, pellet, (try logun, expensive, but worth it!) pateints and practise you can expect suprising, even silly long shots, certainly when supported, (my personnal favorate is a coke can at 100y) Hitting power is impressive, Adjustable two pressure trigger is lovely to use once mastered, smooth and gentle. Like all HW's, well engineered, will last a lifetime if looked after. Also very easy to tune, i have recently fitted a modified piston and spring to my 95, aquired from a well known gun customiser. The 95 shoots very sweetly at around 11.6 ft 1bs, and is as accurate as my pcps. Recoil is reduced with these tuning parts. What suits me, might not suit you. I bought a 95k in .22 cal shoots quite well as standard but i gave it a tune and what a difference it made, the only problem i found when doing the tune was the mainspring. The end that goes into the piston was just cut off, not what you would expect for a german gun, so i heated the end and levelled it off fitted a tophat good polish and relube needed a small amount of preload and it now shoots very consistent at 11.5=11.6 and seems to like hnftt pellets i also found that the carbine barrel... It feels really comfortable at the shoulder, the stock is beautiful and the power is right up to the limit. Accuracy is very good and it is a very solid rifle. I also own an air Arms S410 in .22 and while the 410 is smoother being a PCP, the 95K does give it a real run for its money. A precision piece of German engineering. On the negative side, I am struggling. If you... (read more)

The Weihrauch HW95k is very good. I had a Gamo Shadow 1000 and after 3 months of shooting, I checked the power and it was 7ftp, so I sent that back to BSA and got this. What was I doing shooting with the Gamo, it's no good compared to this! To be honest, I wouldn't care if my Gamo got lost in the post.

This Weihrauch HW95k was my first air rifle and I was very pleased with the gun for a long time, then it started to deteriorate after a couple of years. The barrel began to rust despite all my efforts to combat the problem! The stock cracked after I dropped it out of my car and I'm finding it near impossible to get a replacement! Also the accuracy deteriorated, I am using a bi-pod and only 1 in groups at 25 yards. I also find that every little knock alters the accuracy. I realise a lot of... (read more)

When fitted with Parker Hale resonator, 3-9x40 Simmons scope and a Titan mainspring you can easily take out big bunnys at 50 yds plus. The Weihrauch HE95K is a perfect weapon for vermin control, the resonator doesn't silence the rifle that much but it helps to balance the rifle out. Weihrauch HW95k - Go out and get one if you want a break barrel sporter, accuracy is phenomenal if you can be as accurate as it is. When I first got this Weihrauch HW95k rifle (it's in .177) I pulled of the wrapping and saw an excellently built rifle brilliant stock, nice finish and brass trigger! The Weihrauch HW 95 is powerful, sharp, very well balanced, with its walnut stock that makes a real pleasure to handle it. The legendary Weihrauch "Rekord" trigger is adjustable, but it's just perfect out of the box. Mine is a 4.5 calibre; I paid about €300 for it, a fair amount to spend for a carbine you'd never give up shooting. Perfect for target shooting, as well as for controlling pests in your backyard.
