Very efficient. Looks good. DOES boil quickly but VERY, VERY heavy. If you are considering this kettle for anyone who has dexterity problems or is, perhaps, elderly (not meaning to be ageist), then forget it. It's VERY noisy and difficult to see where the water level is as the condensation wets the reservoir window making you think it's full, whereas it's only the condensation. Condensation also settles on the lid.
