I've just completed the Trade Skills 4 U Bronze Domestic Installer Electrical package and would highly recommend Trade Skills 4 U. The facilities are fantastic and all the tutors are highly experienced and professional electricians. Trade Skills 4 U have one of the highest pass rates and having been through the course with them its easy to see why. If you have any doubts don't take my word for it, just go along and see them for your self… Read Full Review

“C&G 4141-01 review”

Written on: 14/10/2014

I needed some genuine practical experience to add to my theory, part P and 17th edition courses. which had been included as part of a plumbing course. I found the 4141-01 course on the website and subsequently confirmed with the booking department, this was indeed the course I needed. I got a lot more than I expected, the tutor was fantastic, if i had taken this course first, the other 2 would have been so much easier.the facilities were clean tidy and well lit, tools and materials are in… Read Full Review

Written on: 12/08/2014 by TristonDevine68 (1 review written)

As a non electrician, I thought I would be way out of my depth going in to do my 17th Edition course. This wasn't the case however, everything was so well explained and thought so well, that I found everything very easy. I would highly recommend using Trade Skills 4u as the place to go for your course. Not only was it cheap compared to some, but everything was made easy by the multiple emails telling me what I need to take, where I need to go and course material needed. When in the class room… Read Full Review

“I feel accomplished!”

Written on: 11/08/2014 by tjKennedy287 (1 review written)

I've just completed my Part P course 2393 and passed well which has left me feeling very accomplished.I must admit I was very apprehensive about stepping back into a learning environment given the last time I did on the 2391 some years ago I crashed and burned badly leaving me clear that being able to sign off my own work was merely a" pipe dream "and looked highly likely it was going to stay that way! However, from approachable staff to a clearly communicated agenda the course moved me on… Read Full Review

“Top training”

Written on: 22/07/2014 by Jb76 (2 reviews written)

I have worked in the industry of 20-odd years. I have experienced 3 different Electrical training providers, TS4U is by far the best. I have completed 4 courses with TS4U now and have more planned. I always find the back room admin staff to be very helpful and great to deal with. The instructors were not 'stuck-up' or condescending. And cared about the students who were finding it difficult. They had information that I needed/wanted and they put it across very well. I have sent my… Read Full Review

“If your quick with manual work and have no major...”

Written on: 09/03/2014 by 262Sherwood (1 review written)

If your quick with manual work and have no major issues in your personal life, this centre is for you. Instructor had a very good knowledge to pass on. It's not much point trying to take any of the knowledge on board, unless you feel OK in the learning environment. Happy learner, no matter what ability, is going to learn quicker, rather than a flustered and annoyed learner. I still do not have my certificate even though I emailed them! Have not heard back. Don't bother with Trade Skills… Read Full Review

Dear Sherwood,

Many thanks for your review and congratulations on passing your course with Trade Skills 4U.

The domestic installer course is specifically designed for those new to the industry and the fact that you have passed the course with us whilst dealing with some quite serious personal issues is proof of this. We often offer extra support and guidance to students that are struggling if they highlight any issues during the course. However we do find on the odd occasion, some do discover that maybe electrics isn't for them and perhaps too challenging which is absolutely fine and not a criticism and in a training environment is probably the best place to find that out.

As with any customer we would ask you contact us directly to see why you have not received your certificate rather than via review website. Though we should say we have to wait for City & Guilds, BPEC and other accrediting bodies to send us certificates before we can forward them on and sometimes this can take as long as 6 weeks.

We always go out of our way to help every student that needs it in our centre. In particular we offer free training for service leavers many of whom are dealing with very serious life changing conditions and really struggling in life. We do this because we know our tutors are some of the best in the UK and able to support our students through each course.

As with any training centre sometimes equipment may become worn, however as you have highlighted we do keep backups just in case. They are not hidden, we just simply keep them in cupboards for safe storage as you would expect. Bringing this and any other issues to the attention of your tutor would have been the best course of action. On a final note I hope you are able to use your training to some advantage in the future.

“17 day domestic Installer package - Tradeskills4u”

Written on: 05/12/2012

Have just finished this course and was very pleased. Im a service leaver with no previous electrical experience and havn't sat in a classroom for around 8 years. Theres a lot to take in and all the tutors were extremely helpful in making sure everyone was happy and understanding. All tutors were either electricians or electrical engineers with at least 20 years experience in the game and were willing to pass on the best of their knowledge and advice, not only to get us through exams but also… Read Full Review

“Unvented Hot Water Course”

Written on: 20/07/2012

Attended this course on the 18th July and can honestly say it was fantastic. Im a 43 year old guy who has been in the Commercial Installation buisness for over 20 years and have to say Our trainer Terry White, really deserves credit. The course covers quite a lot over a short period of time (1 Day) and so it really helps when your tutor spends time explaining in detail and plain and simple english to get his point across. Get this guy for your course, you won't be disappointed… Read Full Review

Completed the Green Course, a very very good centre, I really can not recommend them highly enough. Before going for Tradeskills I had looked at a couple of other places who offered similar courses at a slightly cheaper price but was very glad I opted for Tradeskills4u. Their facilities are superb, all the equipment that you need to get you through the course is there. During the course, which was approximately 4 weeks, we had 3 tutors, Andy, Paul and Terry taking different aspects of the… Read Full Review

“GREAT Experience at Trade Skills 4u”

Written on: 22/02/2012 by JeremyEllis (1 review written)

I have done the MOD1 5 Day course at Trade Skills 4U in Crawley and cannot recommend them highly enough. The staff and tutors are great and the course was very well run and presented. This week I went along to do the 4 Day Inspection & Testing City & Guilds 2392-10: TS4U-92 but was too ill to be able to continue with the day. They were so supportive and understanding and have allowed me to re-book the course at another time when I am well again, with no financial penalty at all. I could not be… Read Full Review

I have recently been made reduntant after 6yrs with the company and found applying for work with 16th edition qualification difficult. I needed to upgrade to the 17th edition. I ended up with Trades Skills 4U who were very pleasant and helpful and booking procedure speedly executed. Course tutor I found to be paitent with my maths abilities(or lack of). Also found the course structured and easy to follow especially having not been in a class-room for over ten years. I can strongly recommend… Read Full Review

“Could not have been better”

I have just finished my part p course with Tradeskills4u and have to say I could not fault these guys at all. The course was well thought out, the classrooms were plush and my tutor (James) was excellent. I was late on my first day and missed the start of the course but James still took the time out on his lunch to help me catch up. These guys don't just know electrics but they also know how to teach and out of a class of 14 well all passed first time. I found the whole experience very… Read Full Review
