Hi - sorry to hear you've had a bad experience. I too had a failed delivery. However I have just had a full refund in my account this morning. Here's what you can do. If you paid by direct debit you can call your bank and ask to start proceedings under the chargeback scheme. If you have evidence that delivery wasn't made and it wasn't reasonable to make the delivery the next day then the bank will refund the money within 48hrs. The whole process takes about 10 days. If you paid by credit card it's called section 75 contact your credit card company. Ring cambridge consumer advice helpline and log a complaint. Email the director of lillian rose and tell her the complaint and what actions you are taking. She WILL NOT speak to you on the phone. However it's best to keep it all in writing anyway. You will get a many emails back and forth but if consumer advice says you have a case they will relent in the end, persistence and a cool head is required. Good luck! It's worth following it through.

Sorry I made a typo - if you've paid for flowers by debit card or some credit cards (under £100 value) like American Express, visa credit or MasterCard. If over £100 on credit card you need to use section 75.

“Beyond Awful”

I placed an order for their Best Seller Aqua-Hand tied which looked amazing on the website which contained Roses, Gerbera, Lilys, Spider Chrusanthemum and what looked liked Gladiolus. Granted the website picture was prices at 39.99 and I went or Regular of 29.99 and an additional 5 pounds for delivery. I ordered a bouquet for my friends 40th. The flowers never arrived. I contacted the company at 5pm to chase it up but they told me they were closing in 30mins, had computer problems and there was no other way of checking what had happened. I emailed a complaint. Join the club. Read the other reviews - this is happening every day! You probably spoke to the manager/ owner anyway. They took money from me without delivery. Write to their local paper (Cambridgeshire News) and town council (Wisbech). Write to Watchdog, local MP, write to Action Fraud UK. They are laughing and taking people's money and there's nothing we can do about it unless people act. Don't just take it. (Review Centre will be reluctant to post this whereas they need only to look at all the negative comments about Lillian Rose Flowers in the past to know it's a genuine post.)

I have contacted Cambridge consumer advice helpline who have logged a case against them but also started proceedings through the chargeback scheme with my bank to recover the money as I paid by debit card. You have 120 days from expected date of delivery of flowers. I am hopeful as both bank and trading standards feel I have a strong case to argue. I wish more people would do the same. These people are giving me the runaround though and not making it easy. However I am patient and tenacious! If you made a payment within the last 120 and they still have not delivered you too may be able to go through the chargeback scheme - just give your bank a call. Mine have been fantastic. Good luck.

I ordered these flowers for my wife and they were delivered the next day free of charge with a hand written card with my choice of words, well packaged so they were not damaged in transit, 3 weeks later when I walk into my front room they are drooping a bit but they still smell lovley if anything the smell has got stronger as the weeks have gone on which is why we haven't thrown them out yet, the best £40 I've spent on flowers Fantastic service and they even called me back when they misheard… Read Full Review

Very disappointed. The flowers that I ordered for my mum did not arrive. I ordered online, so the correct delivery address was there in print, but they delivered to the wrong address. They did apologise the day after (as on the day I got fobbed off by staff when I called to enquire, and later no answer as shop shut). Ordered my flowers on a Sunday for next day delivery, making sure I picked something that was available for next day. I was surprised that I could get this service on a Sunday but over the moon. You can pursue a refund through the Chargeback Scheme within 120 days of purchase or expected date of delivery if you paid by debit card. There's a different section for credit cards. This can be for non delivery and for quality issues. Google chargeback scheme. I'm using it and it's so helpful. My bank have been great. You could also report them to cambridge consumer helpline who pass on cases to trading standards. They have been fantastic in outlining my consumer rights. You don't have to let them get away with it

We lost my Grandmother to cancer on Tuesday morning, I ordered flowers to go to my grieving mother and she still, 2 days later has not received them and they are refusing to refund me unless my mother refuses the delivery (if that ever happens!!) why would she?! I hope you are pursuing this with trading standards. If you paid by debit card you can pursue a refund with the help of your bank through the chargeback scheme. It's simple to initiate. Just phone your bank and explain you want a refund through chargeback scheme - they'll take you through it. You have 129 days from date of purchase or agreed delivery date. Good luck. You don't have to let them get away with. Google Chargeback scheme or look it up on money saving expert.

i ordered a had tied autumnal bouquet for a friends birthday from what I though was a local florist for £50 plus 7.99 delivery. What I got was 3 roses 5 gerbera, 5 carnations and some greenery. No more than £20 worth and certainly no better than a £15 bunch you would get from a supermarket. Absolutely shocking experience! I ordered flowers to be delivered next day to a funeral that we were unable to attend. Booking order processed smoothly and two confirmation emails confirmed delivery. I ordered a bunch of flowers for next day delivery as this was the only day of the week someone would be in to collect them. I called up 4 times during the day to ask if they knew anything about the where abouts of the flowers. The girl knew nothing and was completely useless each time I called. “Birthday bouquet”

This was supposed to be a special birthday present from my brother in the USA to me in England. Initially the bouquet looked fine, but the next day when I looked at closely I found that Substandard flowers were used, poor quality. Too many flowers crammed into a box. Some flowers died within 4days the others lasted under a week even the orchid and anthuriums only lasted a week.
