Given a quote for work on10/2/2011.The work was completed in bits and pieces. It was finally finished on27/3/11.Ithen requested that it was inspected as i had been promised,but was told this was not to be.Each time the wind blew the dry edging fell off.Ihad contacted the office so often iknew the names of the office staff.On two ocassions some lads were sent to stict them back on.Trading standards were contacted and advised recorded delivered letters, these were returned unopened Eventually... I have gone through the County Court and obtained a Warrent of Execution aginst this firm, the Baliff went in but they have left Gemini buisness park with no forwarding address, if anyone has any information could you let me know as I am £3500 out of pocket for a really poor job

Despite the good reviews, mine has been a bad experience with ECO Roofing Specialists. It started with a cold call by 'phone (presumably they've bought my details from another firm). I was already aware my roof needed some TLC and the lady said the right things, so I agreed for a surveyor to call. The survey was cursory at best, and the guy was more of a salesman. Forgot to add, the "long guarantee", is dubious.
The certificate carries the same 'phone number as the office, where they fobbed me off!

We have recently had a slate repair and renovation on my roof. Me and my wife are so happy with the results as it looks like a completely new roof. I felt as though i should review eco as having read 1 or 2 of these reviews previously i was somewhat anxious after agreeing to get work done. I must say though that they've done a pretty good job. I have a slate roof and opted for a clear coating. My roof looks good and all my slates were replaced and they even took part of my chimney down for free. Wouldn't hesitate in recomending them and well done to the workmen as they worked hard and til very late to get the job done! (read more)

i had my roof done and so have four others on my street. A lot of work needed doing and the restoration looks fantastic! I had no problems at all and thoroughly researched the product before signing anything. If you want a new roof pay for a new roof, this is a roof coating. Dont be put off by these reviewers as far as i can see the last 3 havnt actually had any work done, so how do they know if it works? “Beware Rip Off merchant”

My mum also had a visit from these, they pressured her into getting the roof done and took a £675 deposit off her to do the work the very next day! no 7 day cooling off period was offered at any point, luckily i cancelled them, by phone and email and letter, however they still turned up and pressured my mum to have the work done, the ofice manager kept phoning whilst the workers were there, but she refused to have the work done. My 80 year old aunt signed for £2,921 of work she couldn't afford and provided a £600 deposit. I would question the sale tactics and as they haven't started any work I expected to be able to get the deposit back. They say that because I asked on day 14 they will only refund if I had contcated them by day 7. Do you want to do business with a company that takes £600 from an 80 year old for nothing? I have just had a roof coating system from Eco Roofing specialists, my roof before I had this service done was in a right state but now that it's done it looks amazing you would think that I have had a new roof!!
They were A fantastic company from start to finish and they left my house cleaner then when they came, and the best thing was it was a fraction of the cost of a new roof but came with a better guarantee and saves money on my heating bills
