nothing could be simpler,just fill in the valuation form on line and we will give you an offer,if you accept we will arrange to come and pick your bike up and pay cash in your hand,nothing could be simpler,after trying to sell my 1000exup for 2 months,this seemed like a god send,i filled the form out on line,not very many questions i thought,i was totally honest with them,1991 yamaha 1000 exup,good condition,21000mls,full history,mot,new tyres ect,not a mint bike but very good condition bike,i received an offer of £912 straight away,this was quite low as i was advertising the bike for £1400,but decided to accept the offer as i needed to sell the bike due to a shoulder injury and and not being able to ride it,.a polite man phoned me and told me the bike would be picked up in 1 to 2 hours.a man turned up about 4 hours later with a van,there was something about this man that made me feel a bit wary,i think it was his manner,he looked shifty,gave no eye contact and was not very friendly,he looked the bike up and down,played about with his large mobile at the same time,shook his head a couple of times and said nothing,in my house he phoned his boss michael and mumbled to him,then said to me that i had said to them that the bike was a 1995 model,which i definately did not,i even showed him the email i received with the offer and it was definately for a 1991 exup,then he mumbled something about breakers yards and how he could now offer me £400 for the bike,i nearly punched him,then the last offer he made me was £450,i nearly kicked his sad dishonest ass all the way back to his van,these people rely on the fact that the person selling the bike needs to sell fast and will therefore accept very little money for the bike just to get rid of the hassle,i sold the bike on gumtree for£1250 in the end so please do not waste your time with these we buy any bike sharks,or believe their good reviews as they have probably been written by themselves,the funny thing is as soon as i layed eyes on the guy with the van i knew inside that this would be a con,he had it written all over his face.
