“Hermes are no good”

On the 13th February 2015, I booked in a delivery of some very important documents. MyHermes have since lost this delivery. It has been 12 days since the booking and nobody thought to ring me to tell me that this booking was lost. I booked this delivery through a third party and I would urge anyone NOT to do this as all it means is that Hermes can worm their way out of the situation. All they will say on the phone is 'You need to speak to Interparcel' over and over on repeat, no matter what… Read Full Review

“Awful service, complete lack of care - and they lose...”

In my opinion, there is absolutely no point in using the Hermes service. You might as well walk along to the post office and use their second class service as this will give you the same guarantees as Hermes, the service will be better, and it will take less time to get there. I sent some very important documents via Hermes through Interparcel. Hermes like this as they can pass the blame onto Interparcel and vice versa. Ten days and 3 rebookings after my parcel was supposed to have been collected and no sign of a courier van or a refund. I live near the conjuction of two major roads in a city at the epicentre of Britains road network. Parking is not an issue. If they can't or won't organise a pick up in my case then what hope does anyone else have. “Lying, dreadfull service”

I must admit, I have used these on a few occasions and not had any problems. I sent some motorcycle boots on January 6th 2015. These had some value so I sent them "to be signed for". On checking the parcel status it informed me that the parcel was delivered and signed for by the customer at 12.32pm on 10th January 2015. Parcel lost in transit. System shows successful delivery. When I complained they promised to investigate. I've now been proudly told the result of the investigation - the item has been delivered! Excuse my ignorance but if it had been delivered why would I be complaining? “Terrible”

I posted a Tape Deck, packed it ultra carefully. The buyer received the Deck and said it was damaged, foot broken off the bottom and internal damage to the mechanism, small puncture hole in the packaging. Hermes offer NO compensation for damaged Electrical items, in fact looking on their website they offer NO compensation for a list of items as long as your arm and your mates. “Terrible - delivered my parcel to my rubbish bin”

I had ordered some goods from TK Maxx online that included pans with glass lids. I didn't have any delivery warning message from Hermes so that I could plan to be in to take delivery of the item. On coming home one evening i had a 'Sorry I missed you' card that said it was left 'recycle bin' on checking behind my bins i couldn't see the package and worried that it had been stolen. “Thrown over gate”

Ordered an expensive electrical gadget..tracked item expected delivery next Tuesday 10th February. Returned home today, the 7th if February to discover the parcel on our driveway, only accessed by electric gates. This must therefore have been thrown over onto the hardcore drive. “Unflexible , rude , unhelpful”

The title says it all, I work every day , when i called driver he said he cannot deliver after 4 pm , but will try 2 more times after which the parcel goes back to sender. What good is that to anyone. Also doesnt speak english well, refused to deliver to a friend 2 roads from my address. This courier service is only good if you have a business address where there is someone to receive the parcel. Useless for domestic purpose… Read Full Review

I have had to use this service on more than one occasion as Amazon and Monsoon use them. There is not a single good word I can say about them. Used Hermes for the first time in December 2014 by sending 2 parcels. Although both parcels were delivered they each looked as if they had been used to play football with. On tracking my parcel, it appears that there was attempted delivery 3 times but surprise surprise....not a single card through the door to say this. “Utterly incompetent”

WE have had several instances where the local courier has dropped parcels over our 6 feet high gate even when we have been in (including a case of beer and a laptop) causing severe damage to contents. Two weeks ago the courier delivered a wrongly addressed parcel by leaving it round the back without bothering to ring the door bell. I contacted Hermes who just asked me what address it should have gone to. They obviously did not even read my reply and closed the case saying it was over 28 days… Read Full Review

“Two parcels disappeared”

Hermes has recently 'lost' two orders I ordered from 2 different suppliers. The first order was replaced by the retailer, the second cannot be replaced because it was the last of the second retailers stock.
