“Impossible to talk to anyone”

Don't ever use Hermes from Germany they have now lost four packages,these are not small items. How on earth can you loose four 28kg packages. It is impossible to speak to anyone in Hermes, and you cannot email them, two weeks now and nothing just states at hub, what hub. If you want to send international packages don't use Hermes. So much cheaper than p.o. Dead easy to do online. Pay via PayPal print the label and drop off at a nearby store. No queuing very simple. Read bad reviews about this company before I used them but I have found the service to be brilliant. I have such a low opinion of Hermes but you have to put in a star unfortunately. I eagerly awaited my delivery of lovely clothes in a sale and as I am at home all day didnt think anything to be a problem. The retailer used Hermes and they (Hermes) sent me an email last night saying my parcel had been left in my porch at 19.46pm. “Worst courier company”

Despite leaving cards at the door - to leave the package at the door (never with other companies was not a problem), courier still leaves a card 'I missed you' and does not leave any contact to each other to be able to make an appointment to pick up the package, although he should leave, because it is so written on the sheet. I totally agree with you. Apparently my parcel was left in porch at 19.46 last night. I don t have a porch and secondly I was in if they were trying to deliver to the CORRECT address! I think they just deliver your goods anywhere and job done even f it does bear no relation to where they should actually be sent to. (And I trust my neighbours - and none of us have porches) Hermes wash their hands of any responsibility for delivery status - where is their customer service and duty of care to who are paying them to deliver?

“they damaged parcel, tried so many times to find which...”

I sent a painting and whilst tracking it discovered it was 'held - damaged'. Then spent five days emailing, on-line chat, promised they would get back tome, I wanted to know which depot it was at. Finally they toldme it was Coventry but that they would not courier it back to me because the glass was broken and I had to go and pick it up. Hermes refuse to communicate with retail customers. Their tracking is a joke, I think they just put anything that comes into their heads, it bears no relationship to what is actually happening with your parcel. I posted my package on Wednesday from Germany to Scotland, hoping it would arrive there on Friday. Oh no, BIG MISTAKE, according the tracking system, they just sorted it on Sunday (!!!) and took it for delivery and god knows when it will be delivered, it´s been a week already and the status hasn´t changed. My last experience with Hermes over a year ago was a disaster & ended up with a disappointed customer received a beautiful vintage Teapot broken after spending ages securely wrapping it up. “Lost parcel!!”

I ordered clothes that was worth up to 100 pounds from new look, they processed and sent my order to hermes in a day which was very impressive. I got a text the next day from hermes saying my parcel would be with me today so I stayed in to wait for my parcel ( as usually they get sent back if not delivered). “Tracking update useless”

I have used Hermes many times with no problems BUT why bother with a Tracking function if it is not updated! It drives me mad that 24 hours after an update nothing seems to happen or the parcels travel by snail. I have used Hermes for the last 5 items I've bought (not out of choice, that's just what the seller has chosen) and all 5 times there has been issues! 3 items were not even received so had to be issued a refund and the 4th and 5th are still yet to come and haven't been delivered on the days requested! I work full-time so I always say if you come before 7 in the evening, ring me or leave the parcel with a neighbour as I will not be in. They never do this whilst all other couriers do. “Appalling delivery service”

I have never used HERMES but i ordered an item from a retail establishment and was told It would be delivered today. The whole day i waited for this delivery losing a days pay in the meantime. Looking at the tracker at 1814hrs i was informed the driver would reattempt to deliver the item on the Monday. The driver didn't even attempt the first time. I ordered a pair of shoes from a supplier in Watford. I ordered them on the 25th and on the 26th they were ready to be shipped. Watford is one end of the Met tube line, I live at the other end, it should have been with me within a day. I am witting writing this a week later. “Incompetent Service-Packages Just go Missing”
