It’s summer vacation, the weather’s great, and all the kids are having fun outside. So where’s Greg Heffley? Inside his house, playing video games with the shades drawn. Greg, a self-confessed "indoor person,” is living out his ultimate summer fantasy: no responsibilities and no rules. But Greg’s mom has a different vision for an ideal summer . . . one packed with outdoor activities and "family togetherness.” Whose vision will win out? Or will a new addition to the Heffley family change everything?

Diary of the wimpy kid dog days by Jeff Kinney is a fantastic, hilerous, funny book. The forth diary of the wimpey kid after the last straw. Its about a wimpy kid doing all kinds of weird things and experiences no human would have in the summer holidays. My two favourite parts is when Gregs mum invites Fregley round to play with Greg but ends up behind a tree in thier front yard maybe naked. My other favourite part is when Greg's mum takes Greg to the salon to have a hair cut but endes up watching this soap opera at home that the hairdressers were talking about and got told off from his mum.Ithink his mum was jelouse then because i dont think the hair dressers talk to her.I definetly recomend this book for boys and girls the ages of 9-14 years.
Hope you enjoy!
