Good Points: This car is alot of power in a small package. Almost to much power for its size.

General comments: I'm am a huge van of this car and would like to own one in a small while. I'm starting to look for a complete motor and gearbox to work on. I'm just waiting for some cash to be paid out. Great car and probably one of the fastest 1400 car I've ever driven in.

Very fast Fiat that's high on performance, cheap to run, and relatively cheap to insure!

I bought my 1994 Fiat Uno 1.4 Turbo (1395cc 70hp) from the 5th owner when it was 6 years old. One would expect constant breaking down and endless visits to repair shops. However, besides regular wear (tires, shocks, clutch, water and fuel-pump - each one once), I never spend more than 200$ a year for the rest of fixes. Of course, you can't compare this car to the never-breaking Honda, but for this super-cheap European 1994 car, it's a miracle. If it wasn't for poor safety, I would recommend ...

The Fiat Uno Turbo you either love them or hate them. My mates and I both have uno's and are always in competition with each other 2 c who can get the most power. I've got an Uno arbarth with forged pistons, Greddy T2 rollerball bearing turbo, port & polished stage 2 head, 20v turbo intercooler and 55 shot of nos on 16" momo sports. witch did give me the edge. but now my mate has just dumped the 20v turbo lump in it and not surprisingly got no grip on his 16's so found the 4wd running gear off a ...

i have an uno turbo and it is gr8.its got a wide arch kit,14 inch fox evo 2 alloys and a meaty custom built 4.5 inch exhuast.the engine has so much response it it like a mini cosworth.im pushing a respectable 247BHP and a top speed of 140mph but that will all soon change as i will be having the pistons rebored and an audi quattro gearbox fitted for extra perfomance.

Me and my mate modify uno's, for a living and we have got 2 turbos. I have a mk 2 and it's knocking out 252bhp at the Wheels, it did a standing quater at santa pod this year, on the 3rd run we got the time down to 12,33secs, and we reached a top speed of 148mph @ 8000rpm it was running at 22psi, So remember Never Under estimate the POWER of the Uno..

    port and polished head

If you desire a a car with similar construction to that of a spam tin, are a dab hand at rebuilding blown engines and a good sparky to boot, then this fine example of how not to make a fast car is for you!! For something more unassuming and able to chase Cossies try the Astra 16v.Fiat "Uno" because you'll only want to drive it once!!!

If you fancy running up the backside of a cossie and pushing him all the way down the road then this Fiat Uno Turbo (1.4 Blueprint) is the car for u. Get over to Ireland and get yourself a blueprint and a remapped turbo and then expect speeds of n e thing up to 160mph and a 0-60 of about 5 secs. That is power!
