“I randomly ended up in this restaurant on Saturday...”

I randomly ended up in this restaurant on Saturday evening, and what a pleasant surprise it was. Having left eating arrangements to someone else to sort out, I was told that we were eating at an Iberian restaurant. Iberia is a region that covers Portugal, Spain, Andorra, Gibraltar and a small part of France, so the cuisine covers quite a broad area. There was lots of chorizo and pork, but very little for vegetarians. I think I had seared beef for starter, followed by a pork dish - it was incredible. Looking back, I think it was some of the best food I've ever eaten at a restaurant in London.

The thing that really made this restaurant was the service. Our waiter was friendly and personable, and went to great detail to explain where various foods came from. He also took the unusual step of telling us which dishes to avoid. Even when he made a mistake with our bill, he quickly recognised his error and sorted it out promptly for us.

It is quite expensive though - probably about £10 for a starter, £20 for a main, and bottles of wine from about £20. Well worth it though.
