NO VOUCHER CODE AND NO REFUND. Call center is fake and so are they. Needs to be closed down. I've opened a fraud case with my bank. They stole £50 from my credit card!!! I have purchased some Lebara topups and my pins are usually delivered within just minutes, but last couple of times .... previous was delivered in 2hrs time, and today I purchased a £5 Lebara topup 3hrs ago and that still has NOT been delivered! I purchased of this website as I was in desperate need to talk to someone abroad and they'd run out of credit. After waiting hours I finally received a rude email telling me that my money would be refunded as my land line number wasn't valid. I asked how long the refund would be and they told me it would be 2-3 days. I've now been waiting a week for a refund, emailed again asking if they'd gotten any further with putting the money back into my account, surprise surprise no further emails... (read more)

No, the whole point is that I had given a correct landline however they still kept telling me it was invalid.
I am still unhappy that I'm being made to stand out of £20 for nearly two weeks with no idea when or if I'll actually be given a refund.

Tried to get a top up here as it was advertised as being immediate, first they claimed I failed to call their verification line from the number I provided, which is completely false, I called 3 times. Then they began questioning why I was based in the USA and needing a top up for the UK (My 9 month pregnant fiancee is currently in England), and upon divulging my reason, began questioning my morals about why I was not with my fiancee. I had a gut feeling while I was making this transaction that something wasn't right but like everyone else on this site, I was desperate to talk to someone and needed an instant top up. Desperation makes hope take over! I paid £23.25 using money bookers and sat with phone in hand for a few hours, no sign of any credit. My (English) friend was stranded in Germany. I tried to get him a top up via the O2 website, but they only accepted UK bank-cards & UK-credit cards. Since I am not English, that wasn't an option. I found Topupsdirect, and googled for reviews. I came here, and thought I would be scammed, but I had no other choice than to try. Twelve hours after I bought the top up, it arrived. it doesnt make a difference IT CLEARLY STATES ON THE WEBSITE IT IS INSTANT, THEY STATE AS SOON AS THEY RECEIEVE THE MONEY FROM THE PAYMENT SOURCE THEY WILL SEND YOU THE VOUCHER -- I DO NOT KNOW ONE SINGLE PERSON THAT HAS HAPPENED FOR! IT IS DISHONEST!

Fully agree with what you are saying. The site is quick enough to reply when they are getting money but when I wanted a refund I stop getting replies from the site.. The site definitely needs to be shut down.

I bought a voucher from these people the other day. I never got it and never received a reply from their help desk. Having paid though moneybookers on my debit card I contacted them and told them I would be doing a visadebit chargeback from them. They told my to give tupup 48 hours to provide the service so I did. I needed a Vodafone voucher fairly quickly, as I was unable to top up using my card, and all the shops in my area were closed at that time. I ordered a £15 voucher on 14/12. When I still hadn't received the promised SMS several hours later, I assumed the money hadn't gone through and ordered again. How can this company get away with the way they treat people? I needed credit on my phone quite urgently and couldn`t make it to the shops. so I looked if I could do it online. I bought a £20.00 top up voucher for my mobile. I’m on Orange. I bought the voucher on 05/10/2011 at 10:14pm. Money Bookers received my payment on 05/10/2011 at 10:24pm, I received an email which told me this. I received two receipts for payment via email. Don’t know why I got two. The first on 06/10/2011 at 8:48am and the second on 07/10/2011 at 10:07am. I finally received the voucher on 07/10/2011 at 10:05am. The voucher worked fine and the top up was applied. Completely agree with you.
You should NOT use this service if you are in a hurry!
On their website they say 'Top Ups Direct provide a fast, efficient' method to top-up.
I would have to disagree as this is the second time I had to face this slow service.
I paid £15 top up on the 23rd October, payment confirmation was received on the 24th and I am still waiting for my voucher!

I agree. This service is extremely slow and the help desk seems not to responde to queries. I purchased a voucher on the 28th of Oct and still have not recieved a voucher by the 2nd of November. I would recommend not using this service.

I have also had problems with this site. You know it's a bad sign when they send you an email order confirmation before you have even paid any money. Still I went ahead and placed an order on a Friday night as I had run out of credit believing that it was an instant top up but I was still waiting on Sunday night ! I then emailed them requesting a refund but they just ignored me . It wasn't until I opened a payPal dispute 5 days later that I got a refund ! Disgraceful. (read more)

What can I say, I am absolutely shocked that this company are able to get away with this complete rip off!!! I had tried to buy an online mobile top up voucher and paid with paypal with instant payment for what I expected was going to be an instant text sms message with a voucher code for 15MB of broadband use on a dongle.
If I had known the instant part of the service was 'instantly take my money and run' I would never have touched this website. I waited for the sms text message to arrive...
