There were 9 of us, on a Saturday night. The place looked really nice, had a long table at the far end of the bar. The service was very good. Unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectations. The the choice was very limited and the portions were very small. I had the STICKY GINGER MAHI MAHI SUPREME, which was raw in the middle, my husband had a lamb dish which he said was tough. Another, had the duck, which was described as chewy! The fish and chips, was the 'worst I have ever had' All in all, not a successful evening. I think its a shame when pubs think they are restaurants, and charge lots of money for poorly conceived meals, cooked badly. Why not just be a pub serving good quality food at reasonable prices. Don't think we shall go again.

We were hugely disappointed with the quality of food given the high prices charged. The steak was not cooked to specification and was of poor quality. The portions were small.
The actual venue was very nice and service excellent but this did not make up for the food. We would not eat here again.

I think its a shame people don't give places a second chance. I used to run restaurants in London for 20 years and i still can't figure out some people. Every one and every business has bad days, that's life! Oh well Grandison, keep your chin up some times you are better off without certain customers.
