you could trying going to solent tools in southampton (they habe a website) i got some spare tines for my machine from there - to say no-one stocks spares is a little unfair you just need to have a good look around! Or find someone who is knowledgeable enough (normally a forum), you will often find these branded products appear all over the place under various names. But it a load of rubbish really - you get what you pay for! (read more)

Got mine from Argos, the price was reduced so decided to give it a try. Have a med' sized lawn that had lots of thatch and moss, and it seemed to do an OK job - but slowely. Ok, its not the best quality or the sturdiest product - but at the right price (you choose where your limits are)it seems OK. For what I paid, if I used it once a year for a few years and it 'blew up', then I'd bin it and get another. If you want it to last for ever, don't go here - pay 4 or 5 times as much and take your... Bought from Homebase approx 2 years ago. Just used for the forth time and the motor has burnt out. NOBODY carries spares. I was advised by a Powerebase person to `treat myself and buy a new one`. TOTAL RUBBISH product and service. (read more)
