Ive been a customer of Lloyd's Bank for around 3 years now, and to be honest, Ive never had cause to complain. My banking needs are fairly simple: my salary goes in, my debits go out, I save a bit and the rest is spent with a debit card mostly. Ive always found the best way to manage my accounts is to use the amazing internet banking site and also the naty little banking app on my smartphone. Both are totally secure and have served me very adequately all along. Im happy that I never get hassled with telephone calls asking me to try a new product, or buy insurance etc. In fact the only time I hear of new products is through a polite little message at the landing page of my internet banking app, that informs me of such things as banking charge changes, changes to the interest on my account etc. All in although I paint a rosy picture of Lloyd's, I am aware of some customers who have had a disappointing experience, but to fair those Ive spoken too agree that its usually as a result of old claims for PPI reversal and has nothing to do with the customer service levels of the staff they encounter in branch or on the tele-banking lines. I would heartily recommend Lloyds to anyone looking to bank with a friendly and courteous company.

I have accounts with both HSBC and Lloyds and having used HSBC's system and encountering nothing but problems from the word go, Lloyds' system is fantastic in comparison! It is simple to use and allows you to see all of your accounts on the same screen in a well laid-out and clear way. Perhaps my favourite thing about the system (although arguabley could be a weakness as well) is the fact that I have not yet had to speak to anybody. With HSBC I am constantly having to call rude, unhelpful assistants so Lloyds' system is far preferable to me and far simpler to use. I have been with Lloyds for over a year and so far have no complaints Plus, good extras such as showing you what you spend your money on etc.

Very simple and easy to use. Can apply for everything without visiting a branch. Never had a problem and I've been with the bank for years.

I don't know what are you people whining about. been using Lloyds TSB Internet Banking since forever and I don't remember having any issues, EVER. how can anyone write a negative review about the bank that offers customer zero liability protection here is the information about Lloyds TSB Internet Banking http://aboutinternetbanking.com/

Very surprised by the negative reviews here! Been with Lloyds TSB internet banking for about 18 months with no problems at all! Reliable, easy to use, no security problems (believe me I'd know if there were) and everything does what it's supposed to. I use a TalkTalk broadband connection and Mac OSX on my computer (not that this should make any difference) and I'm a happy bunny.

I use this site a lot..this is the 1st time I have had trouble or let down with the site not bad really after numerous years.

I have been using Lloyds for my banking and I also have an insurance policy with them and they have been fine, to be honest the site isn't too bad, but the text alerts that they have introduced look quite handy, particularly if you are prone to getting close to your account limits.
As for the insurance, my home insurance policy from them seem fine, coverage is pretty good and the online form was easy to fill in and the whole process was relatively simple.

The only problem is switching from personal account to business account. Not as goood as it used to be.

Positive: Excellent banking system secure and extensive with archive back to 8 years to 2002.
Negative: Don't like the new statement in reverse time order (not yet done on business banking)
Could do with read only option for business (accounts staff access)(like RBS!)

have banked online with Loyds tsb for several years - find it an excellent site, have never had any problems. It is easy to log on and yet the site feels secure. I like the account overview feature and the ease with which I can transfer money between accounts. also have experience of the Santander site which is , by comparison, a nightmare!

I have tried repeatedly to register with Lloyds TSB on line banking, with lloyds telephone banking on the phone in one hand and trying to register with the other. After one hour I was told informed you are now registered, your password will be posted to you. Five days latter I recived four months of statements, why?.
I paid a visit to my branch at kingswood Bristol and hopefully, my problem is solved, only five days to wait, Again.

Remember your security information when logging in and you are laughing, been with them 25 yrs ish and on internet banking with them when it first started (lots of years) and not had any problems. Phoning them can be a pain because you dont talk to your local bank but at least you dont get to speak to someone from another country who cant understand you or vice versa.

Internet banking with Lloyds TSB is excellent. Internet loans into your account within seconds of applying, using Quick Sign. Very good rate of interest on their internet credit card. Easy access to all savings accounts including their Cash ISA. The opportunity to buy and sell stocks and shares as a part of a stocks & shares ISA online. I have applied for online loans, online credit cards, online saving accounts, online cash ISAs, online stocks and shares ISAs, current account upgrades, increased overdrafts, all without having to talk to anyone. I am in complete control of ALL my accounts and my wife who is a joint account holder has been equally impressed with the service.

If you wish to make adhoc payments to a personal loan you can do so simply by making a standing order payable to an internal bank a/c with your loan a/c number as the reference and as its a standing order you can amend from your internet banking so you don't always have to make the same payment if any at all.

I wish you could decrease your overdraft i know you have introduced a deleted overdraft but it would be helpful if you could decrease it,also to be able to view and make payments to your loan with Lloyds

I like that you have excess to my Lloyds TSB bank account at all times, if you need to check your bank at any time you can in your own home

I have been a customer of theirs for 44 years, and when I became disabled and couldn't get out very much, I thought I would give Internet banking a try. I have never used a typewriter before, never mind a computer. My son got me to look after his while he went to Australia. He showed me how to send an email, and the rest is history. So, anyone thinking of trying Lloyds TSB Internet banking; have a go! You have got nothing to lose, but plenty to gain.

Totally agree Pat. The computer age overtook me too until last year. I always said I could live without a Computer, but now I have one, I can't! We bank with Lloyds online too. It certainly beats running down to the High Street all the time. We also have an account with NatWest, which is equally as simple. The age of the computer reaches us all - eventually! And how much easier life is!

I have used online banking for a number of years (TSB customer since 1975), but over the last week I cannot get into my Lloyds TSB internet banking accounts, and I need to transfer money. It will accept my password, so I tried to ring the call center. The guy I spoke to was foreign, and to be honest I could only understand half of what he said, and he seemed to be reading from a script, and would not deviate from it. I have to say I am more than disappointed with this service, but this is the first time I have had to use it, and I hope the last, but after all this I am still stuck with the original problem.

I have had the same problem with Lloyds TSB Internet banking this last week. It works OK in my office (sometimes), but it blows me out when I do something in the account...at home using ADSL...no chance! I cannot even connect, and I am in Taiwan!
Very disappointing. What's changed?

07-05-09 still unable to log on,the password i gave to the branch at Kingswood i am told is wrong.
After resetting my password and memorable information i had to contact the help desk, who informed me the system was down, and to call back.
Is it me? i have called back each hour, for the last three hours to no avail.
I have been trying for two weeks to close my Internet account and open a "e" account, which was the start of the whole problem at the beginning of April, frustrated and angry i now sit and wait.
