I ordered an Osprey Exos rucksack which was dispactched very. It arrived, however, in just a plastic style bag envelope which had holes in and when opening the package, the rucksack had a hole in the exact same place as the outer packaging. Obviously something had pierced the totally unprotected package and ripped the bag. There was no protection other than the plastic wrapping. This is an appalling service for a £100 bag, which to add to my annoyance was the last one in stock so can't even get a replacement for a trip next month. Very unimpressed with the second rate packaging in what was otherwise a very good service. Clearly something happened while in transit and it has damaged the bag. Sort the packagaing and get a new courier would be my two cents. The packagaing was wripped in several places. There was no 'This is Fragile' sign anywhere on the parcel either for what is a framed rucksack. Terrible.

I PURCHASED A PAIR OF BRASHER HILLMASTER GTX BOOTS, I PAYED £4.95 FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY TOO. THEY TURNED UP A DAY LATE, WHEN I OPENED THE BOX I COULD SEE THAT THEY'D BEEN WORN. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO TOLD ME TO RETURN THE BOOTS AND THEY WOULD PAY THE RETURN POSTAGE, WHEN THEY GOT THEM BACK THEY REFUSED TO PAY MY POSTAGE. I HATE THIS COMPANY, AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED THEY ARE OUT AND OUT IDIOTS, I WOULD NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THEM TO A FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your review and I’m sorry that you feel our service was unsatisfactory. As discussed during our phone conversation, as soon as we were made aware by our couriers that they had mis-sorted the parcel and it was going to be delayed, we refunded the Next Day delivery charge and informed you of the delay. As we explained when you called us after the boots had been delivered, we would only be able to refund your return postage if the boots were faulty or used. When the returned boots arrived we inspected them and concluded that they were neither used nor second-hand, but just had a small amount of dust on the soles from being tried on by another customer in our shop. I’m sorry that on this occasion we were therefore unable to refund your return postage costs as the boots were not faulty.

I ordered some trekking poles on line. I was at work when the courrier delivered them.I rang the courrier up. They expected me to go 10 miles to Preston to pick them up I asked the company to leave the poles at the post office.Said they couldn't. Also alternatively to leave the poles at my place of work. Said they couldn't do that without the retailers permission. Iwas left with no option but to ask them to send them back. Suggest you use post office to deliver in future because no one can afford to lose business and I will certainly be taking my custom elsewhere

We’re very sorry to hear that you've had a problem with your delivery. All our Next Day delivery parcels need to have a signature (or a designated safe place to leave them) so that we can know for sure they have been delivered. We do therefore recommend that all parcels are sent to an address where someone will be available all day to sign for the parcel, e.g. a work address.
We use a courier for most of our Next Day delivery orders, but for future orders, if you would prefer parcels to be sent via Royal Mail just mention this in the Customer Notes section of the checkout process and we will do our best to help out.

Similar to a previous review, The online site is not updated quick enough so that you purchase an item then find out a day later it is out of stock. Very disappointed now I won't be getting a new jacket.

They sell items they do not have in stock or can get in stock. Beware when ordering. You might be told a day later that you can not have it. Very disappointed.
