Ipod repair, One phone call is all it took, prepaid postage label was sent to me, I posted my Ipod and within 3 days it was returned fully repaired. So simple so easy.... Hassle free warranty

Hello Had warranty on my tablet that I have dropped and broken the screen. The Square trade people were very helpful and friendly never asked too many questions and explain to me what would happen. The best thing of all is I never had to leave the house they came and collected the parcel and they told me that the broken tablet could not be fixed and that they would replace my tablet with a new one gave me a date and time frame and delivered the parcel. Never wrote a review before but thought it necessary to write this one as such a good job had been done. I don't give out compliments very easy and have had trouble with other companies to get things fixed it has never been this simple before would always use this and recommend this company to a friend.

I was very impressed with Square Trade when I made a claim recently on my tv which had an irritating buzzing noise.When I called Sq Trade,the call handler gave me the service centre no.which I called and they came to pick the TV within five working days as stated by Sq Trade.I was kept informed by emal throughout the claim process which liked.They handled my claim very efficiently. When my appliance was written off,the costomer service rang me and explained their reason.There was no fuss and forms to fill in.Unlike some insurance company an excess would be deducted,Sq Trade paid the full amount insured. I was told the money will be credited to my account and was promply done without having to chase it. I am pleased with my overall experience and would recommend them without hesitation.

just moved and unpacked TV. Sorted out all leads sky etc when I plugged in switched on nothing, tried changing fuse no different so remembered had warranty for unit so rang, they could not have been more helpful sorted out with one call and within a couple of days had money in bank to replace TV, easy as thanks a lot guys.......

To start with the claim was long winded. First I had to semd an email with proof of purchase which should not have been necessary as the store had already filed my details with insurers. I was then told to take the ipod to my local apple store which was half an hour away to be told that the product was not repairable, which i already knew! I spoke to insurers which said I then had to send it to them to be checked out again!!! I wish id had the opportunity to send it straight to insurers this would have saved my time and money in fuel and parking. Once they'd received my ipod it was dealt with very quickly! My daughter now has a brand new one :-D

Everything was dealt in a quick and very professional manner. I was kept in the loop throughout the whole process via email and phone. Very polite on the phone. Would defiantly recommend to family and friends and will consider taking out another policy.

i purchased the SQUARE TRADE 3 YEAR WARRANTY on ebay (alongside a Panasonic Digicam). It was very easy to purchase though i did find it a little difficult to follow the instructions in forwarding a digital copy of the sales receipt to Square Trading (but this may be because i had never done this procedure before). Also, i feel i received too many email notifications about this, that and the other. But overall, i am quite satisfied.

After my Sons headphones developed a fault with the remote button, I couldn't remember the warrantee details however a quick look on my Amazon account solved this and I got in touch with Square Trade. The online notification was very simple and I soon had a response in my e-mail enclosing a UPS return label, the item was returned and deemed to be uneconomical to repair, so Square Trade refunded the full value by Amazon Gift Card. Very efficient and friendly service keeping me informed at every stage of my claim by e-mail.

Very pleased with the quick response you showed when I first reported the problem with my tablet but you did not inform me that it could not be repaired so after two weeks I phoned you to see what was happening and was told that you had put a refund into my bank for which I thank you, overall I think that your operators were very understanding and dealt with my claim amicably.THANK YOU ROY CAMPINI

I am very happy with your service because you resolved my problem with no hassle. And you done it efficiently too. And your product was good, but it did stop working. However, it stopped working just after a year. But you do have a great policy about extending the length of the warranty for only a few more pounds. The product I purchased was the steam mop. It worked well in the beginning, but then it stopped working properly. I would recommend this company to all my friends and family as it is a great company. I do ,however, believe that if you sold better items to then everything would be perfect because you already have a great customer service. In addition, before I purchased my item I would have liked to have known which company it was from because I had to search online to see which company it was sold from. This is because some companies sell some old or useless products. So if I had either never heard of the name or heard of it for a good reason, then I would have bought it straight away rather than search the web to find out first. That is why I have given you 4 out of 5 stars.

Had a slight problem changing my address but after ringing the free phone number it was sorted out. The lady on the other end of the phone was helpful and gave a call back to see if everything was okay. Good hassle free service

After filing my claim online, which was very easy and handy, not having to call up a call centre, I was soon contacted via telephone to confirm that my claim had been processed and that my details were correct. My item was quickly picked up days later, however I was promised on the phone that my item wouldn't need to be packaged by myself, the courier would provide packaging, however this wasn't the case. This I presume was not the fault of Square Trade however. After waiting a week, I was a bit in the dark about what was happening with my claim as there were no updates via email or telephone. This left me a bit worried as I had just given up a pricey bit of kit with no assurance. However on the day I was about to contact Square Trade for an update, the money was placed in to my account with no fuss. The overall service with Square Trade was very satisfying, for such a small cost, I was able to recoup the costs of my faulty item. This was a great help as it has enabled me to instead of having an outdated camera I can now buy a more updated version. I would certainly recommend Square Trade to anyone who purchases any item.

I purchased a squaretrade warrenty with a satnav unfortunatly it stopped working after a few weeks i rang the helpline and was pleasantly surprised by the attitude and help of the teleop she quickly arranged for my satnav to be picked up by courior and said they would contact me within 48 hrs unfortunatly this did not happen after 3 more calls over a week i managed to get the faulty unit picked up and 1 was reimburst i was let down by couriors who did not send emails as requested i purchased another satnav from the same supplier but i could not take out a squaretrade warrenty on my new unit i thought this was a bit unfair

We have numerous Square Trade plan and Square Trade have always offered great assistance when products have malfunctioned etc. The ability to upload receipts and rename your individual policies is great. This means that when it comes to making make a claim no further paperwork is required and all it takes is a phone call to activate the claim process. Payments are also made promptly. The only improvement we would like to see is to be able to activate the claim process online rather then via a telephone call, hence only the 4 stars, otherwise its a great product and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

Ok - bought a 2nd hand good digital Nikon SLR cam on Ebay - being 2nd hand I'd thought it best to find some kind of warranty on it (never know exactly what you're getting). Cam came in good working order but started to fail within 6 months. Got in contact with SQ and they handled the claim quickly and promptly. Various contacts - emails and calls but all was resolved very quickly. Monies returned (including original Ebay postage!) in fine time. If I were to buy any gadget (£150+) on ebay I'd certainly get a warranty from Square Trade again. I might sound like a salesman for these guys but that's not the case - they simply are very, very competent at what they do. Two big fat thumbs up! WS

Square Trade staff were very helpful, but sadly were let down by their Courier company who did not communicate with me to arrange a collection time, for my VHS/DVD player that was faulty. They turned up one day when I was at work and had no knowledge that they were coming. Fortunately, Square Trade staff resolved the issue without the Courier. Communication not good!!

I recently had to make a claim on my Squaretrade warranty for my Macbook Pro which unfortunately had a glass of cola spilled on it. I first called Squaretrade on 10th March, and the claim was finally resolved on 3rd April. Much longer than I'd expected but I'm still very happy with the service. All the customer service advisors I spoke to were very helpful and polite. The initial phone call took about 30 mins, and I was asked various questions about the damage to the laptop before they could take it on as a claim. I was offered the option of a bank transfer or Amazon voucher if my laptop wasn't able to be fixed. I was sent a postage label and packaging to send my laptop to a repairs company, and 2 weeks later I received a call to inform me that my laptop was beyond repair, and they'd credit my account with the full amount I paid for it within 3-5 days. 2 days later the full amount was paid into my account. Very happy with the service despite the long wait time, warranty is well worth the money!

Hi,
The reason we need to see the proof of purchase is because the form filled out in store is just information, We do not get a copy of the receipt.
