Square Trade staff were very helpful, but sadly were let down by their Courier company who did not communicate with me to arrange a collection time, for my VHS/DVD player that was faulty. They turned up one day when I was at work and had no knowledge that they were coming. Fortunately, Square Trade staff resolved the issue without the Courier. Communication not good!! (read more)

I recently had to make a claim on my Squaretrade warranty for my Macbook Pro which unfortunately had a glass of cola spilled on it. I first called Squaretrade on 10th March, and the claim was finally resolved on 3rd April. Much longer than I'd expected but I'm still very happy with the service. Square Trade guarenteed my daughters reconditioned i pod which failed to work after 6 months. Square Trade went through troubleshooting over the phone in an attempt to rectify the problem. When this failed they gave clear instructions and free postage labels for the item to be returned. Within a week the gtotal amount paid for the i pod was refunded into my bank. Unfortunately my 18 months old smartphone screen cracked after a fall so rang the company and they arranged for the phone to be sent to the local depot for repair. All this done without me paying for any postal or delivery charge. Having found the phone was beyond economical repair they immediately arrange to pay the full value of the phone purchase price. Square trade helped me make the best descisions, by directing me though the manufacturing company first, as they would be quicker in fixing or replacing the product. They also said if the company refused toring straight back and get the solution through them. I was very impressed with the simplicity of the claims procedure. The person I contacted was friendly and helpful and ensured I had all the information I needed and talked me through how to makde the claim. This was a simple process and as well as promptly receiving a pre paid postage label for the faulty item, I received a full refund pretty quickly.
