left I found out he racked up £20,000 debt in his name. He just left the company. I phoned debt support trust because he was made bankrupt and they wanted MY house! He had equity which they wanted. I got good advice from debt support trust and they were very sympathetic of my situation.

I take my hat off to charities like debt suport trust which give excellent advice and don't charge. Debt suport trust spent over an hour giving me every option and didn't push me into anything, in fact they were a little too easy (I wish they told me what to do, but they didn't). Happy to say they are one of the best I'd spoken to.

Debt Support Trust are Experts at dealing with Wonga! I explained to Wonga I couldn't pay they wouldn't listen so I phone Debt Support Trust and They gave me help to fix the problem. I got 3 payments of £125 each and the interest and charges frozn. Why Wonga wouldn't just do that for me doesn't make sense but glad it's almost over.

I called the advice charity and the advice helped me see I had to pay my debt and that even £1 was better than nothing. I got a letter and sent it and got a good reply so I can focus on getting a job. It all started with the Debt Support Trust and I'm now going forward to resolve my debts positively. I'll be giving them a call again once I'm back into work to help with a debt program.

i don't know what i would have done without debt support trust and the advice they gave me. i spoke to a softly spoken woman who was just so helpful and nonjudgemental of me and the situation. I couldn't have asked for better support and it was completely free.

My boyfriend and I had debt for what seemed like forever. So when I entered a trust deed I thought it was brilliant. It's just been protected by the people I owe money to. My boyfriend and I were arguing about money and it just got the the stage where I thought what's the point. We contacted the debt trust and they helped us sort it all out. I could have went into bankruptcy but decide I wanted to pay a bit of my debt back and the trust deed seemed best. Very happy the bank aren't hounding me now.

Tough decision to go bankrupt after everything i've been through but it was the right choice. I had received this advice from the citizens advice bureau too but it was a weight off my shoulders to know that it was possible. Debt support helped me get my paperwork in order as we went through it online. I submitted the forms and it's good to know the debt can't come back and haunt me. I wish I could have paid money back but with no money its impossible. NEVER again will i find myself in this situation.

I read the debt supporttrust newsletter which is of a high standard and worthy of reading. There are decent money saving tips and help for people with debt problems. They could add a little more content about people who have come through the debt problems so it's a little more optimistic, but overall I enjoy each edition.

I used The Trust charity for debt help two weeks ago and thought the service was excellent. I feared being judged for my past errors, but that didn't happen. I read good reviews about the charity before seeking help and thought they sounded professional and safe, so I contacted them. I waiting for about 15 seconds before being speaking with a human. There wasn't any "Press 1 now" nonsense! 1 bad thing about the process was it said it would take 10-15 minutes on the website when it probably took longer on the phone. Understandably, my situation is complicated so it wasn't too bad. The woman that helped me was fantastic and put me at ease. I felt like I would actually get out the debts again and be able to sleep without my credit card phoning me every 5 minutes. We're too quick to criticize people and companies for bad service, so I'm going to compliment Debt Support Trust on a job well done.

After 5 years of paying a debt management plan and getting nowhere, debt support trust gave me incredible advice. The company I was with charged me £45 per month and told me I'd be debt free in 6 years, great I thought but my debt is over £20,000!!! That's like 40 years to be debt free. The charity team helped me realise I was in a losing battle and i'm facing harsh realitys that I've got into a problem i'll never get out of. That £45 was a huge struggle to pay and often I went without food to pay it. I won't be doing that anymore and have started to look at other options. I'm speaking to my debts myself to deal with this.
