Had read this review before we entered into a contract with this disgusting company. VILE is not even a strong enough word. 2 years ago we were tricked to take on what could have been a beautiful home for life. We even upped our offer 10 per week on the condition that all beds were to be removed. The offer was signed and accepted. On the day of the move with removal vans in tow we went to collect the keys only to be told that the landlord had now said that we would need to replace 3 beds in the 2 bed property. The reason they had 3 beds to begin with was due to the Olympics and making tons of money already from that. With our hands tied firmly behind our backs we had no option but to sign the agreement accepting that we would pay £150 per bed in order for them to hand over the keys. They did say that they would sort it out though and send a counter action letter once we had moved in. With the removal van there and no other option we just had to do whatever we could to obtain keys to our new home. From that first day it was just awful to deal with this company. We didn't have any heating throughout 2 winters being told that if they had to rip up the underfloor heating system to find there wasn't a fault that we would have to pay (told by electrician about £900) we bought 3 electric heaters which were good but for a loft style apartment with huge ceiling our winters were very miserable....oh wait it gets better....the doors were built badly with huge floor to celing double doors with massive gaps letting whistles of wind through and the front door would sometimes gust open when the wind was strong....now making the property reach artic conditions. Then came the floods from front and back doors which moulded our cushions that were trying to Block out the drafts. When we said to concept that we wanted a reduction in rent after the 2nd winter without resolution They said that we actually should be paying more as the rental prices had increased considerably since we moved in! So now I am sat here waiting for check out sad to leave our home without anywhere to go as we know the fight over the bed saga would be a long one and with a 2k deposit on hold there isn't much choice in London. This is a very very small fraction of our ordeal...the rest is just too long to type but I do hope that unlike us you are reading all of these reviews before getting yourself trapped by a rogue estate agents like concept.

After months of fruitless complaining to this company about various serious maintenance issues (broken washing machine for over a month, broken dishwasher, toilets blocked, the list goes on) at our flat in East London I have been driven to distraction, near madness and finally, this website.

I want to warn ANYONE considering entering in to a contract with this company to THINK AGAIN.

During our time in our current property, under what can only be described as Concept Spaces' dictatorship, we have experienced endless grief, lack of response, action or follow up, general confusion and now, unprofessionalism that absolutely takes the rental cake. All the while, paying full rent under their threat of eviction at any attempt to compensate ourselves via a deduction for the endless issues.

I can honestly say I would rather be living in Victoria Park in a tent during the middle of winter than ever having to deal with this absolute circus of a "Property Maintenance" company again, do not be fooled by the title, this company will do anything BUT maintain a property you have the misfortune to rent off them.

I pity the next tenants in our flat and seeing the back of this company will be one of the happiest days of my life. If I were to invoice them for time spent following them up on the ridiculous list of problems they would be bankrupt. Many times over.

Keep your sanity and your money, choose from one of the other marginally better companies and find somewher else. Anywhere else. Just NOT with Concept Spaces.
