This product is totally waste of money and would not recommend to anyone. It did not cover a single grey hair. Having thick/heavy long hair, it took me 50 mins to apply + waited 40 mins before I washed my hair. applying to my hair… Read Full Review

After dying my hair for 20yrs the last 3 times I coloured I got a reaction getting worse each time to which my gp told me if I did it again id end up in hospital as my neck swelled the 3rd time which affected my breathing, so at the age of 42 and getting married this year I didnt want to be grey just yet. I did lots of research on the internet and found grey busters so I ordered a bottle, being scared I made sure I did the 48 hr tests had no reaction so went ahead, I left colour on for 45… Read Full Review

Found this product after a long search for a non allergenic dye suitable for beards. I have tried lots of products that cause skin irritation and rash and can honestly say that this is the best I've come across . It smells fine and doesn't stain the skin - You will need to be applied every few days but its better than using harsh chemicals on a beard that will need trimming anyway. You'll have to cover with the plastic bag but this will be easy to manage and doesn't require great ingenuity to… Read Full Review

I purchased the Blue Black shade to cover my grey roots and replenish slightly faded black permanent hair dye. There is no difference at all to my hair colour - my greys are still 100% grey with no hint of colour to them and the faded black is still very faded. The hair dye has a weird chemical smell which has lingered on my hair and my hair feels slightly dryer than it did before I used the dye. I followed the instructions to the letter - washed my hair with a clarifying shampoo, no… Read Full Review

I suffer from allergies of various triggers, hair dye being amongst them. I've been using Natures Grey Busters for approx. 7 years with no problems. Don't expect the coverage of a chemical dye and you won't be disappointed. I like to mix colours to give a shade I like, usually mahogany and medium brown it gives a lovely reddish brown and looks natural. My hair condition afterwards is wonderful and I find I don't need to wash my hair for at least 3 days. I get a couple of applications as my… Read Full Review

My very dark brown/black hair had started to go grey. I tried many well advertised hair dyes and ended up with a horrific allergic reaction which I finally found out was due to PPD in the dye. For a while I tried natural henna, but after a while this no longer covered grey and was a very long and messy process. I found Natures Grey Busters whilst searching on line. So I cautiously gave it a go. I tested on my skin first for 24 hours - great, no reaction, took a deep breath and went ahead… Read Full Review

I was delighted when I found this product as I am allergic to hair dyes. I followed the instructions exactly and although my hair became slightly darker, the few greys I have were not covered at all. The next couple of times I left the product on my hair for double the amount of time. It still made no difference to the grey hairs. A complete waste of money!… Read Full Review

I'm neurotic about toxic chemicals so thought I'd try this product after trying a few other natural varieties. This is the best fore without doubt. I get a nice sandy/dark blonde but I so leave it on for 45-hour & give it a blast with hairdryer. No reaction & I like the fact that one bottle lasts me several applications, whereas other dyes must be thrown out. Only down side I guess is that it fades but to be honest, it takes quite a few shampoos before I need to reapply. I probably do it once… Read Full Review

I bought this product as I thought it would be okay seeing as I am allergic to chemical hair dyes, how wrong was I!!!! After 5 minutes of application one of my ears started burning and swelled up. Nver EVER trust what you read on the internet! This is NOT a safe dye, if you suffer with any allergy to hair dye DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. You have been warned!!… Read Full Review

This product is amazing, it really works! But it does need a lot of heat. I applied the dark brown, and covered my hair with the plastic cap. I have a hood dryer at home, and I sat under the hood for an hour with the dye on my hair, with the heat setting on low. When I first rinsed my hair out, I could see that my grey hairs were covered, but not as dark as my natural hair. Then, I put my hair in curlers to dry it, and sat under the dyer again for an hour. When my hair was dry and I took out my… Read Full Review

I used this product several times. i had no reaction to it despite severe dermotitis, which is good. but each time the colour just washed out, no coverage of grey at all. i wrote to the manufacturer, and they suggested a darker product and more time (c45mins), but the same happened. It seems then that for some hair types it doesnt work. … Read Full Review

I have used this dye four times now. I'm about 30-40% grey, and have sensitive skin (eczema and allergies). I had no problem with this. The first time I used it, some greys where still visible after, but the second time I left it on a little longer and it covered them well. The colours are good with a cool-ish tone. I have used med/light/dark brown and not mahogany as they recommend against this on grey hair. If your not expecting a salon result you wont be dissapointed. I'm going to try… Read Full Review

Firstly the colours I purchased (light and medium natural brown) are nothing like how they appear online. Online they look like nice natural cool browns, but when they arrived the hair sample image looked noticeably red/warm coloured. When I applied it the dye had a fair amount of red in. Luckily, or unluckily for some the dye did not really take so no change, and it did not cover my greys at all. I know my hair is not that resistant because I have used other brands of temporary to semi perm… Read Full Review

This product does not make my scalp react like regular hair dyes containing ammonia or PPD. And while it does not cover grey as well as regular hair dye, it does do a good job of colouring the grey and blending it into my darker (previously dyed) dark brown hair. I am 75% grey and my roots show clearly when my hair grows out. But with this product, the effect is completely minimized. I use the dark brown on my roots and then touch up the rest with medium brown. I do this every week to 10… Read Full Review

I am very allergic to hair dyes so when i bought this product i was very nervous about using it, it states not to do a skin teat but i did it anyway so scared because have been burnt in the past because of ppd, i did the test no blister so i put it on.

I am so thrilled to have a product that I am not allergic to. I have a lot of gray and it covered it well. I left it in for 40 minutes. I have brown hair and used medium brown. I liked that it also smelled good and seemed very gentle. My hair feels soft too. Since I was so allergic to all other hair dyes it seems a miracle this one has no reaction and I don't mind if it washes out after a while, it will be easy to just put it back in. I've ordered a few more of the colors in the browns… Read Full Review

I was very disappointed with this product, i bought the dark brown one and left it on for 30 mins. I had no reaction whatsoever which is good as i am very sensitive to hair dyes.
When i washed it off, my hair had gone slightly darker but it had not covered any greys whatsoever, luckily they're only round my hairline, but the next time i washed it, the bit that was there, completely washed out. No sign of it at all.
Poor value for money,it states it lasts 8 washes, no chance!! and does not cover… Read Full Review

I am pleased with this product, although I was not using it to cover greys just to darken my hair as I am allergic to most PDD hair dye products I have tried.
My hair is particularly long and thick so next time I need to purchase at least two packets as the bottle was quite small.
On the website if you buy 3 you get the postage free so it may be worth doing that next time!
