My two boys have one of these each, brought because I liked the look, the fact you can tailor them to be a bit individual, and based on other reviews. My four year old loves his and I was impressed with how quick he became very confident wizzing around-but this is where my criticism is-the brake is a complete after thought. The drum brake works fine, but you need a fair bit of leverage to make it bite, which a child cannot do with the lever that comes with the bike-its the same size as... (read more)

I just got my 10 inch bulldog bat. On the phone I requested a white frame with a pink seat for my daughter and also asked for a blakc seat for when my son turns two. It only cost £5 more but he already likes the look! Great service and a great quality bike. I did look at other more expensive brands but this matches on quality and is much better value as it is cheaper and can be customised. Well done Team Magnus! (read more)

Team Magnus is a company I found at a christmas show. The husband and wife team were charming and told me they started the business in 2010. Their Bulldog bat balance bike is well thought through and of excellent quality (no plastic wheels or rubber tyres here). They have a range including 10, 12 and 14 inches.
