“Delivery communication failure”

It was easy to order two 'in stock' products from World Stores and select a delivery date. After that it went down hill. The day before delivery the 'track my order' still showed awaits shipping. The email confirming my order stated delivery would be between 7-7, and I would receive a despatch confirmed email. Website states delivery would be between 8-6pm. Ordered goods and waited six weeks before I was told goods out of stock. This is after numerous calls to company assuring delivery was imminent. Cancelled order and asked for refund. Ordered a bed and mattress they sent the wrong mattress. I spent 5 hours in total on the phone trying to espouse the issue which is send the correct mattress and collect the incorrect one. I think this must be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I ordered three items, 2 sets of drawers and a bed all in stock. Day of delivery arrived, and I didn't receive the promised call an hour before delivery, the delivery men told me that they had called multiple times but I hadn't answered, I checked my mobile, no calls at all, so clearly the delivery men lie. As a web developer running several online store - I am absolutely APPALLED at the service offered by Worldstores. The purport to offer next day delivery. To be safe I ordered a Bed and a Mattress a week ahead of when I needed it. The day before delivery I get an e mail saying my chosen bed is not in stock - would I like a different model. “The worst customer service i have ever encountered!”

I was genuinely shocked by the service provided by worldstores. On 2 occasions they delivered me half a bed with a mattress. They had somehow managed to send the other half to another depot. A month and daily phone calls later I still had not received anything. Not only was the manager rude and unwilling to resolve the matter but many times the phone would cut out. i.e they would hang up. I would never use worldstores again. “Lied about how much money they have taken from my card”

The dis-interested salesman took the details of the order but didn't say how much he was debiting the card for so at the end I asked how much and he responded £369 (extra money was to cover delivery). They rang me. A table had been added to my order which they have now removed and refunded me for. The mattress was delivered a few days later so all in all I would rate them 3 stars. Although they messed up the order they did sort it out.......

So i decided on a Chesterfield Suite and Armchair, bough Sunday evening two weeks before Christmas from World stores company CASAFINA, the sofa is in stock and for next day delivery! But no, item didn't arrive, payment was taken and I emailed the company to be told it is out for delivery for Friday.
