We made two orders, the first did not arrive and it is taking a lot of hassle to get a refund. The other order, one item had mouldy wood and it has taken several calls to sort out collection and a refund. Each time you call customer services you wait for ages to get through to someone who is often polite but they do not then adequately follow up and you end up having to call back again!… Read Full Review

Placed an order for a mattress, sofa & 4 dining chairs on the 6th Sep for delivery on 9th Sep which didn't happen. Called world Stores on the 11th Sep & was told no stock of the sofa & mattress & no date as to when they will have stock. And delivery of the 4 dining chairs with an eta date of end of Sep. Do not buy from this company! Kept sending me fabricated consignment numbers and delivery times despite the item being out of stock so I was repeatedly kept waiting for no reason. Outright liars. Awful company. Was offered 10% off my next purchase as 'compensation' for having to wait repeatedly (and what would have been indefinatley if I hadnt of chased it up myself) and now having to wait upto 10 days for a refund! please whatever you do, do not use this company they totally let you down. ordered a bed, received a number of texts to say bed loaded, on route, will be delivered between 2pm and 6pm and then a text to say not delivering will be in touch soon! I wish I had read the reviews prior to ordering. nice lady cancelling my order but now have a sick child on sofa without a bed as I had his old one removed when I received the text to say bed on route. I ordered a mattress with a set delivery day of Thursday. Waited in all day, didn't turn up & no contact. Phoned and phoned, unable to get through to anyone, emailed, had an email back saying they would respond within 72 hours. On Monday had a text saying delivery between 8am and 6pm, waited in - no show. Same on Tuesday. On Wednesday woke up to find the mattress dumped outside the back door, it had been raining. ordered a bed, got a delivery date. Bed didn't come. Two days later still no bed. Tried to get through to customer services 7 times, 1 hour and 35 mins to finally get a person. When I got through I got cut off and even though I had given my contact info they did not get back to me. I have dealt with this company on 2 occasions and both were shockingly poor. Customer service is ridiculous. I first ordered a cage for a new bird I was due to collect 2 days after the "Guaranteed delivery date", only to have to rush out urgently, taking time off work to get one from a pet store as it didn't arrive.
