Castle Combe curcuit is a very warm and friendly curcuit that caters for all types of motor racing, from Single seater, classic cars, rally cars, saloon racing and club racing. from the end of March to the end of October almost all weekends have some kind of race meeting going on. All the big names have at some time raced at Castle Combe from Damon Hill to Lewis Hamilton to even Mark Knoffler. The track can be walked around in less than 45 minutes at a slow pace and the pitts area is always a family affair and always open to the public even though on big race days they may charge a small fee. The curcuit is situated close to Chippenham and only 5 miles away from either junction 17 or 18 of the M4 motorway.
From my experiance having been a race marshal there for the past 5 years it is a great place to take the family and an even greater place if you have cars engraved in your sole.
if you want to know more then visit their website to find out what is happening when, there is almost certainly a meeting just right for your taste. You might see me there, Ill be in orange with MR Z on my badge.
