“Postage Rip-Off for Spares”

I am very disappointed at the minimum postal charge. I have just ordered a replacement u-bend spring for a micro scooter - in itself expensive at £2.45 (you used to be able to get these for the cost of a stamped addressed envelope to the supplier). The postage on this item, that must weigh a few grams and sit in the palm of your hand, is the same as any other spare part (deck/handle etc) at £3.95. Out of the four items I ordered, only three arrived. This was for a child's birthday so not ideal. The one item that did arrive was The scooter, worth £100. I ordered and paid for the expedited service for a scooter, which I required by a certain date. The wrong scooter arrived. I phoned MicroScooters and to inform them of their mistake and request the correct scooter be sent out. Two days later someone from MicroScooters phoned me and wanted to "assist me." I ordered the Micro scooter and paid via PayPal after 6pm on Tuesday 29th May. In Bold letters at the top of the order is the offer of free next day delivery on orders over £60. This scooter cost over £120. I called the customer hotline on Wed 30th May and spoke to a pleasant lady who told me that because I had not ordered before 6pm I would not receive my item till today Thursday 31st May, this I thought was very reasonable. “Website not clear for spares!”

needed to get replacement wheels for my sons sprite. Ordered the wheels that appeared to be correct for a 'micro' scooter but rear wheel smaller than original. On enquiry informed that they don't sell rear wheels for sprites (though they did recommennd a third party who did). No offer of refund for the wheel I purchased or further contact. “Daughters Birthday disappointment!!”
