I had a decent JD Bug before, which I liked a lot, but when I saw the Micro Black and Micro White (we bought one of each) I was really really impressed. The engineering is on another level, they are so solidly made and you get a lot of metal for your money. (If you want something light, choose another scooter.) My daughter has had one of the Micro Mini scooters for a couple of years. She uses it so much it was inevitable that we needed to replace the odd part on it. The customer service at Micro has been excellent. We've had replacements (a spring and an axle) with us within a couple days. They're straightforward to fit. We contacted the company last Wednesday (12th Dec) to advise that the rear wheels of our boys scotter had seized up whilst still under warranty, and the company dealt with our problem superbly. I received an email offering free delivery, which usually means that you get the basic delivery free. However micro scooters gave me next day delivery which I was really surprised at and meant that I received my scooter within 24 hours of ordering it. This company have always been really helpful when i have called to ask for advice on their products, great telephone staff. Website is clear and easy to use too. I love the fact that you can personalise the scooters in so many ways, great at school when they are all the same! I am very disappointed at the minimum postal charge. I have just ordered a replacement u-bend spring for a micro scooter - in itself expensive at £2.45 (you used to be able to get these for the cost of a stamped addressed envelope to the supplier). The postage on this item, that must weigh a few grams and sit in the palm of your hand, is the same as any other spare part (deck/handle etc) at £3.95. To start with I must point out that I love your scooters. I have only rated poor as I think your postage costs are extortionate. Customers have already paid a lot of money for your scooters, we can seemingly get spares only from yourselves, and then you charge high postage for your items. Smaller companies, with cheaper products seem to be able to charge low or free postage, why can't you? (read more)

We have had lots of scooters for our kids and the Micro brand stands out for quality, range and price. We recently purchased a two wheel version for our daughter to replace a cheaper version and the quality is a country mile ahead of her old one. It cost approx £40 more than the old one but is at least £1000 better. She used to fall off the other one as the steering and braking were sloppy. This item is a real swizzle! Pack contained a few strips of regular ribbons (not even an even amount for each handle bar!) some double sided tape and 2 elastic bands!! My youngest daughter has the 3 wheel scooter and after only 3 days she built her confidence to go speedy fast!
