Good Points: I highly recommend this book not only to students of design who might be inspired by what those in the book have created but also to design companies and potential clients to realise what is available out there that is also environmentally sound.
Bad Points: The book could do with some further organisation if it was re-published. What about a more recent one, come one Alastair we want another!
General comments: Alastair Fuad-Luke, The Eco-design Handbook: A Complete Sourcebook for the Home and Office - I have particularly enjoyed this book, I discovered it while researching for my dissertation. It was a real eye-opener, to find other designers though along the same lines as me. I knew I wasn't alone to be concerned by the environmental impact of design, particularly for me, graphic design. Fuad-Luke reviews new designs, but also manufacturers that produce eco-friendly material, so now I know where to get my supplies.
