I went to purchase a 32/50Kw boiler but was persuaded by their agent to purchase 50/70Kw instead. The boiler is too powerful and cannot be used but they wanted £500 for the return this is contrary to sale of Goods Act and they were guilty of misrepresentation. I offered to change for the smaller boiler and lose the £200 difference, they refused. Told them to come and take it away they didn't as it was past their imposed return date. Buyer beware. Delivery was short of one item. Reported shortage next day (within their stated Terms & Conditions) then spent 3 weeks chasing almost every day. Never had calls returned (even when I could get through on the phone...sometimes gave up after ringing for 8 minutes with no answer). Eventually asked for a refund on the missing part but was told bluntly that i wouldn't get a refund, replacement or credit as their system showed the item was sent out. Good price, friendly staff. Ordered boiler on Monday for Friday delivery, received conformation email to say friday it will be delivered, phoned to check all ok before I booked day off ..... No boiler!! Spoke to lady who assured it had been dispatched and would phone back after speaking to courier..... No phone call!! Spoke to someone else who said it had just been dispatched today! Bought a shower 3 weeks ago with a planned delivery and I called(on hold for 20 mins) the day before the delivery to confirm and was told all was fine. And later that date I received an email providing another planned delivery date 10 days delayed. Tried calling back(on hold for 40 mins) and no response. I'm without a shower and I'm totally fed up with this little companies that just are not up to mark! I'll try calling again tomorrow as its after work hours now. How do these company get... Buying the product is easy, getting it delivered is not so easy and we were let down twice on delivery. When the plumber went to install the radiators, 3 out of the 4 were damaged. I then had to send photographic evidence of the damage before they would deal with the return. They arranged for exchange and we were again let down on this and the date that was agreed came and went. We will now try again for exchange. Terrible customer service. Bought an item which proved to be very poor quality & not described properly, decIded to return still in original package (£40 courier), 2 weeks later received an email with some random photo accusing me of damage & refusing to refund. Several emails & weeks later, after lengthy conversations with consumer advise bureau & my bank, I finally got my money back. Very stressful, unpleasant experience & I'm £40 out of pocket. I ordered 2 radiators from Plumbnation and was told after the order was place by email it would take 9 working days to deliver. If I had known this I would not have placed the order. The day before delivery I was told one of the Rads had been damaged and it would take another 4 working days to deliver. Phone Plumbnation they were very unhelpful and when I asked for a refund told to email my request, when asked to speak to supervisor told to email them. I will not use them again. (read more)

Competitive supplier in terms of price and also when I called they were very helpful in suggesting alternative options that would be quicker on delivery (we needed one ASAP!) which makes a change from a lot of standard suppliers. We needed an unvented stored water heater for a customer project but needed to change the heating element to a lower wattage. PlumbNation advised that the Zip Aquapoint 111 which we selected used a standard 2 1/4" immersion element which is what we needed. We ordered the product and although we were told it was in stock, we waited 7 days for delivery following 2 phone calls. PlumbNation's supplier PTS picked up returned boiler from my house, damaged it on the way back and tried to blaim it on me. I had to take PlumbNation to on-line small claims court to get my money back. It took me a few months, but they settled out of court. On both occasions the radiators arrived damaged/ bent and/or missing parts brackets / blanking plugs. Had to cobble good ones from the bits. On both occasions spoke direct to my local Plumb Center and they tried to sort it out. Couldnt get through to Plumbnation and even if I did they would just phone my local branch of Plumb Center. I ordered from Plumb Nation on 19th October they accepted my order and issued a receipt and took the money from my Credit Card. I emailed them - no reply after 2 working days. I then telephoned and was eventually emailed requesting another £15 because I live in Perth Scotland some 30 miles from Edinburgh.
