The Hoover parquet caress dm6228

This is the daftest, most impractical design of upright vacuum cleaner I have owned in years. And I have owned a few, From Dyson - through to Vax.

The machines most major fault is the size and design of its bag less container. Being far too small for any practical daily use, it hosts an assembly of slotting plastic pieces and filters which are more complicated than a Russian matryoshka doll. In fact there are a total of five things to remove, simply to empty this cleaner. The whole process of emptying it is a dirty hands on experience which leaves the user covered in the dust and pet hairs, often with a quarter of the contents spilling back onto the floor.

Many people have criticized the weight of this vacuum (which I actually mistook for meaning quality components inside). On reflection, it probably is a little too heavy for practical cleaning purposes. Position it on stairs at the peril of anyone standing in proximity below. The worst thing has got to be the general design and placement of utensils. Whomever thought this design up must have either been on drugs, or having a joke at the consumers expense. Described as powerful, it doesn't pick up very well on medium hard-floor settings after some use, which provokes questioning the necessity and effectiveness of a 2200 watt motor.

The various creative implements for types of cleaning chores are positioned precariously all over the unit. They often falling off during use or can become knocked off. So much so, I eventually removed everything and keep it all separately in a cupboard. It is without question the worst Hoover I have ever owned. Do not go near it. It is an electrical product possessed by Satan. I'll be relieved when it's motor eventually burns out, something which is probably likely to happen very soon given the volume of electricity it uses.
