My wife and I have always thought that a motorhome holiday would be great: the open road and the freedom to stay where you please. This is NOT the case. To ensure the van is continually emptied of waste water and human waste, along with topping up with fresh water, you are forced onto expensive sites where you "live" cheek by jowl with lots of other people. In addition, the fuel consumption of a vehicle like this is horrendous. We shall go back to renting cottages at a fraction of the cost.
