hey readers, I have been using blackberry bold 9780 from the last 2 years, i bought this phone after having few reviews about this phone on internet and friends.. but to be frank i was totally disappointed because of its speed, it doesnt even posses an average phone speed, that made me really disappointed and let off. it might be cheap and good for below average phone user but not an cell freak. it has few of the newest features such as push email, gprs, facebook on homescreen, bluetooth... “THIS-PHONE-FALLS-APART”

i have had a blackberry bold for 2 years now and i am not impressed if something comes off the phone e.g the back after a few days everything starts to fall off this is not a solid phone also if you use this phone for its rightfull purpouse ( enternet,bbm,email,text,call,voicemail) the phone will soon become very slow and freeze alot but finally the worst thing about this phone has to be the battery life use it for 2 minutes and the batterys dead ? I got this phone for the BMM and emails as I work on the go a lot and wanted to be able to stay in touch with all my friends whilst abroad. The BMM is great, no problems although if you are on pay as you go be aware that you have to pay an extra fee as it requires a special internet package - on vodafone for example you pay an extra £5 a month for it. I can't decide. I've always been more the traditional BlackBerry user, so the 9780 is a bit more suited to my personality. But until I get the ability to kill the homescreen views on BlackBerry 6 on the 9780 (be it with a theme or a setting), I think I'd go Torch as it's kind of pulling me away from that total speed of use mentality anyways (and I'm sick of accidentally scrolling to the next view on the 9780). Recently I upgraded my phone with Vodafone to a Blackberry Bold, due to the recommendations made by the upgrade team at Vodafone. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised with the Quality of the Blackberry and the easy process in setting up the main features. I remember how difficult is was with my old Nokia phone, setting the time and date etc, with the Blackberry, it was so simple. I decided to purchase a Blackberry as Id heard a lot of positive things about them. I went for the Bold 9780 in white, its a nice looking phone with a good screen size.It is brilliant for contacting others so; emails, sms, mms, bbm, phone calls. “Brilliant!!!”

I have had this phone for a year now (since it first came out) and it does everything i wish. I am not a buisness woman and i don't mind an odd game now and again. Yes, you do have to restart the phone almost every week, yet all blackberrys need it to do so. also if you let it die, completely, it does it for you. And if you dont restart your phone it freezes. this is the worst phone I've ever owned that is not down to the network it's blackberry, I went from an iPhone to this because friends said the were excellent phones but now I disagree. The only thing I like is the bbm when it's not down. Also it's battery life is awful!!!! I wouldn't recommend to family and friends (read more)

great phone if you are a business- type person, but for use on a personal note i would not reccomend, i promptly returned the phone after a few weeks, and returned to android, blackberrys are the best phone for the type of people they are aimed at, business and email addicts. If you want a phone which does everything and especially if apps interest you, avoid this phone (read more)

If you are on the lookout for an advanced mobile with high-end features, black berry bold 9780I fits the bill perfectly. I am more than satisfied with it. It offers a slew of highend features that’ll surely take you by surprise. First up, it looks chic and classy. I can’t stop flaunting it to friends and others. The design is up to the mark and absolutely flawless!
