i only bought this because it was recommended by freesat. it's proved completely useless, freezing constantly and requiring frequent resets, which entail the loss of programmes, channels and settings. the USB port doesn't work, and sagemcom have given up any active support of this machine, although it's not very old. when even the maufacturer can't be bothered, you know it's time to look elsewhere. if this hasn't put you off completely, a very short review of online consumer feedback will... Sagemcom DTR94 Freesat (HD Digital Freesat recorder) Quick intuitive setup, good features and nicely laid out EPG. Nice looking unit. Easy to add non-Freesat channels once you know how too. Took about 10 minutes to set up including taking it out of the box. The cables that come with it are standard and the picture is not quite as good as with my normal freeview TV picture, but that could be an issue with the cables?
Its easy and straightforward to use. I had sky plus before and this just plugged straight in to the same satellite dish cables etc. The menu is smaller to read than the sky one, but otherwise essentially it does all the same stuff and I'm not having to pay a monthly... (read more)
