“Don't buy Electrolux EKC607601X cooker”

I too have had problems with the Electrolux EKC607601X cooker. I have had three visits from Technicians who cannot fix the problem. We have now been given a new cooker but it has the same problem so we're awaiting Electrolux's response. If both ovens are on and all the hobs are on to their full capacity then two hobs turn off. It can't cope with all functions on at once, if you reduce one of the hobs to a single function it will all work. Sometimes the hob just won't turn on at all,... (read more)

This smart looking cooker had a minor fault upon delivery - neither oven light operated if a fan function was selected for the bottom oven. Technicians did not have access to wiring diagrams and were unable to locate the problem. On Christmas Day, using both ovens, the control units of the cooker seemed to overheat and the hob then refused to operate until everything had cooled down. I am now waiting for a replacement from the retailer. (read more)
