Having been on our first cruise last year (2012)to Norway for 12 nights we were realy glad of the experience.We got in touch with the same conciage and booked this fly/cruise with a stop over in same port as embarcation. We decided to take a late deal on the MSC Opera - NEVER cruised with MSC before however cruise dates fitted perfectly with other commitments A lady took the inial enquiry, was very polite, frank, efficient and we proceeded to book. All paperwork emailed same/next day, hassle free NO problems with teh booking, this is in no way a review on MSC but totally on this lady. At the week end I booked a family cruise with MSC cruises with your agent. From the first phone call I made a week ago I have nothing but praise for the service I received. She was professional and knowledgeable throughout the process which resulted in me booking for another 2 people a few days later. Very dissapointed that when we booked trips from Cruise 118 when visiting The Caribbean on Arcadia we booked 3 as a disabled person no one bothered to say wheelchair access did not apply, so I had to do them on my crutches. All Acadia staff said was tough luck you have to help yourself, we can't help to many old people on this cruise. It was supposed to be holiday of a lifetime, Ruby wedding & my Wife suffering with Cancer & me with one leg. (read more)

Booked a cruise through this company following a "cruise sale" mailshot Jaqui took my booking and seemed to be knowledgeable. However my documents never arrived, Insurance and parking information was not forth coming. Failure to reply to emails, Not able to price match other operators. From the first enquiry with Sandie Collier to receiving impressive documentation we've had extremely good service. Our trip amendments were handled quickly and efficiently and we were able to finalise everything to our satisfaction easily, although we did have to pay extra for this service ,we upgraded to Mini Suite. I am very disappointed with Cruise 118. Their telephone service is deplorable and the patronising message provided by the automatic telephone announcer only makes matters worse. I needed to speak to a human shortly before departing for a cruise holiday that was arranged by Cruise 118. I telephoned all possible numbers that were advertised. No one bothered to return my call. I completely agree. My daughter, who is a cruise novice, booked a last minute fly cruise with RCI through Cruise118 for her honeymoon. The agents booked them on a low budget airline, with a notorious reputation for lateness, which, even if the flight was on time, only allowed 90 minutes to clear customs, collect luggage and take a 40 minute taxi ride to the port. When she queried the timing, the salesperson said not to worry as the airline always allowed time in their schedules and that the cruise118 'concierge' would monitor progress and text her if there were any problems. Guess what - the flight was an hour late, there were no text messages and no-one at cruise118 were answering their phones. Even the Directors failed to respond to voicemail messages. To avoid my daughter and her husband being stranded in France I called RCI and they kept the checkin open until an hour before the ship sailed - which they caught with literally 2 minutes to spare. Not a good start for a honeymoon and a complete lack of service from the cruise agent. DONT USE THEM!!

Alison has been my advisor over the last few weeks. I am sure that at times I have asked her some very silly questions, but not once has she made me feel uncomfotable. Alison has always called me back, when ever I could not speak to her. Alison even picked up the phone one evening after her day had finished. I wish that NCL could have been half as good. I have used Cruise118 twice now when looking to book a cruise holiday. On both occasions they have been extremely helpful, professional and offered excellent customer service. This was the first time we had booked a cruise and didn't know all in the ins and outs. Sadly Cruise118 initially give the opinion that they know what they are talking about - but most of the staff don't and just say you have booked a wonderful cruise line, ship, bla bla after taking your money etc. Their deals are all the same as the other on-line agents. I do agree with the above person totally ,the cruise118 is absolute rubbish and unable to answer simpe questions , they just ignore you after they have your mony !!.I am booked on a cruise in 2 days time ,but they will not reply to my e mail queery ,
I might even have to cancell and lose a lot of money
Please, please do not book throgh them , I have spent hours and hours
to sort my problem out still did not get anywhere.

I have worked within the travel industry for many years, cruise118 is one of the most conscientious companies operating in the retail cruise market place. Cruise is a competitive area of the travel industry with margins as low as 3% of the booking total. It appears that cruise118 have realised they made a mistake and refunded you some money, this is a miracle in today’s travel industry, I can assure you after many dealing with Holland America they would not of offered this. Admin charges are common place in my industry and most companies use home workers as it keeps the cost of your holiday low, and experienced staff at work. I have many clients who I now refer to cruise118’s team because I have complete faith in their abilities to effectively manage holiday bookings. I am also confident If cruise118 do make a mistake, and we all do from time to time will react accordingly. I might also add that in a past life I packaged holidays to be sold on the high street through conventional travel agents for the uk’s largest travel company, they take 28 days to issue any form of refund.
I might add that in future before booking any form of holiday to do some research yourself to back up what your travel agent has told you. Cruise118 are one of the very few 5* cruise retailers out there at the moment, who I have complete faith in. Please ignore the ignorance of the above reviews, I have hundreds of clients who I have referred to cruise118 without issue.

I had never used Cruise 118.com before and in fact only found it by chance. That was my lucky day, not only did they get the cruise I was after but the service I received from (name removed) was first class. Highly impressed and would certainly recommend them to any one who asks how I booked.

I booked with cruise118 last year after being reccommended by a friend and from the moment I spoke with my 'cruise concierge' I found that she was extremely helpful and attentive with everything I asked for. Cruise 118 organised a perfect holiday cruise for my wife and I to South America. The flights and pick-up arrangements were just perfect and ran like clockwork. Azamara Journey is a wonderful ship and our cruise on her between Rio de Janiero and Buenos Aires could not have been bettered. We have booked a further cruise on the same ship in October. We were looking at booking acruise with my father-in-law. He spoke to this company and they phoned us with some details of a cruise we may have been interested in. The reviews of the ship on the internet were dire so politely we said we woul think about it and get back to them. The agent immediately phoned back my father-in-law and said we were happy with the arangements and booked the cruise taking full payment from him. We booked on 6th August when £1900 was taken from us. This was supposed to be a special world cruise segment on Oriana but all the elements of our booking have been messed up. The company refuses to answer our emails and our so called concierge Richard Wishart says he will alter things for us but refuses to do so. Cruise118 behave more like a budget airline and not a 5 star pre cruise concierge service that they describe themselves.
ALWAYS go directly to the cruise co and pay later for your holiday. The cruise co s are a lot more interested in you as a guest than the commission hungry travel agents, and by going direct you get info from the horses mouth.
Cruise 118 gave our holiday such a bad start we will never ever use them again, and would advise anyone else against using them as well.

I couldn't agree more with you - dont use this company if you want to avoid problems - they take your money then say they cant get through to the cruse line when dealing with any problems - their staff have limited knowledge of the ships (they read from the brochure) and always pass the blame back to the cruise line when they caused the problems in the first place!

I had a lovely cruise around the Canaries on the NCL Norweigian Jade.
I wanted to provide some feedback about the excellent service provided to me by Mike Davies. Mike was incredibly helpful, professional, patient and provided a first rate service both before and after booking my holiday. His natural, relaxed style made everything seem so straightforward and like nothing was too much trouble. This was particularly evident I had some additional questions after I'd booked. My experience with some other booking agencies would have been that this would have been of less interest to them once the booking had been made. However, with Mike, it was evident that an excellent customer service and ensuring that all my queries were fully answered was an absolute priority.
So Cruise 118, I hope you fully appreciate what an absolute star you have with Mike and recognise what a great ambassador he is for your company.

We first looked at Cruise118 on the recommendation of a family member who had been on a cruise through them. As first time cruisers with family we didn't know anything about booking, family facilities, activities on board for the kids etc. Cruise 118 assign you a personal operator when you book with them and it took quite a few phone calls before we had all the answers but our operator was very patient and put us at ease. very strange I have had nothing but great service from this company. I recently booked a cruise with Cruise 118 and not only did they offer me a better price than every other company I tried but the girl I spoke to was great.
I promptly received all my documents and they had even checked me in online. I will definatley be using them again and recommending them to my friends
