Although it is situated slap bang in the middle of San Jose, which is it's good point. The Gran Hotel is need of urgent refurbishment ( which is a problem because of the hotels hertitage status),the windows are not double glazed and this is probably the major problem as there is a lot of noise outside between 5am and midnight each and every day. The other major problem is the standard of food and service. The food is non-discript and to get served with a drink takes a lot of patience. The... (read more)
