Good Points: Superb finishQuality engineering
Bad Points: None found so far
General comments: I acquired this rifle second hand, it came with a silencer, probably the same age as the gun and a Simmons whitetail classic scope, I won't say what I paid for it, but it was a steal! It is a joy to shoot with although a bit twangy but this is a small price to pay for its tack hammer accuracy. If you can find one get it !

I bought this rifle second hand complete with simmons whitetail classic scope and silencer which i think dates from the same era as the gun.
I paid a ridiculously low price for it and after shooting it for the first time i'm struggling to get the grin of my face. It has a minimal recoil and is breathatakingly accurate, the only niggle is it has a slight twangyness.
If you find one of these around get it - you won't be dissapointed.- Read cptman's review (91 words)

The Feinwerkbau 124D air rifle is amazing. This gun was passed down to me from my father. I live in Leeds UK, and was told that only a limited number of these models were made that were shipped to England. It is still in amazing condition, and still hits and kills bang on. I would love to learn more about these guns, so please, if anyone can tell me, please do.- Read Robson4eva's review (144 words)

I brought my Feinwerkbau 124D out of storage after 27 years. The piston seal was bad, the spring had taken a set and I had to replace the breech seal as well.
An order to J Macari for his spring and seals, along with some of those modern tars and all is well again.
It chronographed at 860 fps with 7.9 4.52mm JSB match pellets today, and did over 820 with some of my 27 year old stock of Silver Jets.
I just love this gun!- Read serazin's review (99 words)

This review is written from an American's perspective Have fired my in-law's Feinwerkbau 124D, a 'super-tuned' 'D' model, & concur with the two prior reviews. It is unfortunate that Feinwerkbau pulled out of the field sporting spring air rifle business. By today's standards, the FWB 124 is a medium-powered gun, yet it fills the bill in its great practicality adequate power, extreme accuracy, portability & superb build quality. IMO, field rifles ought to be portable. Today's magnums are ...- Read Ed Soto's review (135 words)

The Feinwerkbau (FWB) 124D (deluxe) is a classic air rifle. It was manufactured in the 70's and 80's and has now attained a legendary status along with such famous guns as the HW55 and FWB 300's. The FWB 124D deserves this status because of classic styling, workmanship, quality second to none, and supreme accuracy. The FWB 124D was the first "Magnum" rifle to achive velocities over 800 fps. Most stock guns will shoot CPL's around 750 fps with a stock spring and seals or if the Maccari kit is ad ...- Read David Enoch's review (205 words and 7 comments)
