    Bad Points: Too few to mention.


    General comments: The whole thing is well constructed and helpful in the armchair or in the field. Sample's accent is gentle and non-irritating (to me at least!). The descriptions, defining of terms and general clarity is excellent on what can be a confusing topic. I have to admit to converting the files and using my mp3 player outdoors in the habitats specified - very helpful! Clear, enthusiastic and well thought out.

    A truly evocative recording of the many birds both common and rare that grace our woodland ,heath, moorland, inland and coastal waters. The clarity of the recordings are excellant and cleverly incorporate the muted, but nevertheless identifiable background songs and calls of other habitat sharing birds. Helpful and yet sparing commentary from a very knowledgable Geoff Sample, is both informative and timely. If one has any affinity with birds and a love of the outdoor habitats they share, then t ...
