I have just had my window installed from the minute I got my quote to the finished effect the professionalism and friendly staff was very apparent I had two workmen turn up at the time stated they worked from they arrived till the installation was complete. The quality of my window was noticeable right away, the workers were clean and tidy explained the locking system and everything about the window before they took payment of me and cleared away all my old window and tidied up after them.... Had six new windows installed in March and the difference they make is amazing. No hard sell from salesman and everything was done professionally during installation. They kept mess to a minimum and tidied up everything behind them. It was all done in one day which was excellent considering the poor weather. There was nothing I didn't like. The windows themselves are lovely and I was immediately impressed by the depth of the double glazing. And,given the continuing cold Spring weather, I do notice that my rooms now stay warmer for a lot longer after I turn the heating off. The mahogany surrounds and sills are beautiful. Our new windows and doors look great. Windows were initially measured by the sales rep and then checked by a surveyor a few days later as they were made to order. Install team arrived in good time and put down dust sheets before they started. With each window they tidied up as went along. A plasterer returned within a week to touch up the outside plasterwork. It is all too easy for companies to write their own reviews on pages like this. I am going to give a true account of what CSJ's salespeople are like. When I called asking for a quote, I was assured that the face to face meeting would take no longer than 1 hour. The initial 0.5 hour was quite promising, the salesman measured up the windows, told us a bit about the background of the company etc. He then proceeded to spend an hour going back and forth to his car bringing in bits of window and... Dear Mr Potter,
Thank you for your positive review and comments. I would like to take this opportunity to apologise if the finishing was not explained to you properly.
Our company provides a full internal timber finish that is left untreated to allow customers to choose how they would like to treat it.
As a result, we do not fill nail holes and this should have been explained to you. My apologies if it was not.
Customers can opt for us to stain, wax or paint the timber which would include filling nail holes and I would be happy to arrange this for you if it was something you were interested in purchasing.
