“Find someone else!”

LPI were a great little company when they started up, but they appear to be a victim of their own success. For a second time this year they failed to turn up to carry out gas safety checks. I received no call to say they were running late or not going to be able to make it. When I called them I was told one of their engineers was sick and they were too busy to call me to let me know - last time it was a broken down van! 1. Didn't turn up 2. Customer services terrible when trying to sort this out 3. When someone did come they said they would only get the certificate if we gave him £20 so he could turn a dial to increase boiler pressure 4. We never received the certificate either 5. Still getting calls from has man saying he's coming today etc but he's been?!!! Terrible, please don't use and I personally would question the validity of some of the positive reviews (read more)

Took my money and turned up when they said they would - but no report!! Been phoning and emailing - no reply - given up need for property sale these people were expensive but able to do the survey quickly - but utterly useless - why does it take 10 days and still no report. Just avoid. (read more)

“Stay well away from this Company”

They take your money over the phone and then you have to struggle to get the job done. I chose them because they could do both EPC and Gas for a rental property I have and the price seems right. Once you have paid it is almost impossible to contact them. After three days and a lot of trouble I had the epc done but still not Gas. Another three days and eventually got a Gas engineer on site. “Unreliable and poor after care service”

I had booked for an engineer to come around for a gas safety certificat. I recieved an email on the day of the appointment saying the guy's van had broken down. I phoned for a refund, which I was told I would get but never did. Every time I phone they keep saying that someone from their accounts department will call, but they never do. They also ignore emails..They are very quick at taking money but don't be surprised if you don't get what you paid for be warned!! (read more)

First time they were OK. 2nd time I booked through these guys, for 2 appliances in 2 different properties, the guy didn't turn up to either property, saying that his car was broken down and he tried to call me, etc. All bunch of lies! He finally went round but only checked the cooker and his excuse was he couldn't find the boiler in either property! They are in the kitchen.. any 5 year old can find them. More lies again! I tried to call customer service but the number was constantly busy - so the only option was to leave a message. If you give them your correct e-mail then you can log on (enter your e-mail and say you've forgotten your password) and view any documents etc. Customer service is pretty poor but they did turn up when they said they would. (read more)

I booked an EPC check with this company. I paid in advance. - No one turned up at the appointed time and I did not hear anything from them. After waiting for an hour I called the number on the website and was told it was impossible to speak to anyone. I just got fobbed off with 'someone will call you back'. I paid by credit card and eventually called them and reported LPI for fraudulent trading. I recommend anyone else who suffers under them does the same. (read more)

**DO NOT USE** They are basically a scam firm, they lure you in for the first bookings then ask you to pay upfront then suprise suprise they don't show up for the orders you have paid for. This has happaned 3 times in the last week and now we look a bunch of idiots to our clients who have taken time off work to wait in for these appointments. Any landlords beware of this company. They do not deliver what they promise and if you have any problems with their service it is IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone to deal with it. I have called 11 times and left a further 6 answer phone messages and no-one gets back to you. London Property Inspections is a sham - you will save yourself huge amounts of time if you avoid them!!! “Gas Certificate Order - absolute scam”

These guys never answer calls for existing customers or orders being processed. They only care about new sales. They take your money and don't do the work. I've been waiting for 2 weeks just for someone to call me back to confirm when the work will be done. They don't reply to emails, online contact forms and when you ring the new sales number the call centre will tell you to hangup and call again to get through to support which is always an answering machine. These guys are a load of sharks. Paid them weeks ago, they were supposed to do a Gas Safety Certificate. They dont answer phones, emails and if you speak to the Sales team they never get back to you again. I have been waiting 4 weeks just for a phonecall back or for them to actually do the work. As a landlord this has been my worst experience with a service company. My advice is that if you do choose this service then pay after they've done the job. I paid in advance (as requested by them) but never received my certificates and after chasing for 2 weeks felt totally drained. They never respond to telephone messages or emails. absolutely, avoid this company, They specialise in posh service centre staff but send same unreliable people around. We are almost £1000 out of pocket as electrician actually broke entire central heating and boiler. Total refusal to engage with us, much less fix, much less compensate.

I was promised the EPC and Corgi gas certificate within 48 hours. It has not arrived. No one answers their calls for enquiries about existing customers only for new sales. They do not respond to emails or messages. They attended to do the inspection promptly. (read more)

I had pleasure of using LPI to install my boiler unit at my home. They showed up and knocked out the entire project in one day. Duct work was done beautifully. LPI is the company worth recommending. I have small children and my boiler suddenly stopped working. I called LPI very early morning, amazingly they answered the phone and turned up in time.
