I have used software4students for years, I had a problem on Friday night and needed to reinstall office after wiping my machine but could not find my downloads!! I was expecting to be without office all weekend and had assignments to do but I got a nice surprise from Desmond who fixed my downloads on Saturday morning! These guys are good. I bought an educational version of Office for my son from them and the purchase was quick, and downloading the software quick and easy. When there was a misunderstanding about a free upgrade to Office 2013 and I complained to Microsoft, Microsoft themselves were typically brutal and awful. S4S on the other hand, with a bit of persistence on my part, were very understanding and helpful, and sorted the problem out quickly. I'll buy from them again, and probably quite soon! (read more)

I purchased the full version of Office 2010 last year and was impressed with the service I received. Then disaster! My laptop died this summer and had to be rebuilt. I realised that I had lost Microsoft Office. I contacted Software4students and they told me how to download it again. prompt replies to my emails and straight forward instructions. I recently downloaded MS Office 2010 from Software for Students and had a few issues when trying to get it on my new laptop. The customer service that I received was fantastic. They got back to me very quickly and managed to get all the problems I was having sorted in 24 hours which is very rare! “They Sorted Out an Upgrade Issue with Adobe”

I purchased Adobe software for my daughter via software4Students.co.uk just before the upgrade from CS 5.5. to CS 6.0 as the offer included a free Complimentary Upgrade to CS. 6.0 as soon as it was released. Rather than sending the upgrade disc automatically, Adobe prevaricated, forcing us to contact them via 1) On-line chat 2) Telephone and 3) repeatedly filling out their tedious form on the Adobe website. Software for students offers the best way to get a proper version of MS Office Pro at student prices. S4S understand the needs of UK secondary school students. They understand that those students need access to programs like Access and Publisher. Microsoft seem to think that you don't need Publisher or Access until you get to Uni(?!). “Excellent ongoing customer support”

I had a computer crash and had to reinstall the programmes - initially I couldn't do this, and I contacted customer support over email. They were extremely quick and friendly, and resolved my problem very efficiently. I was very happy with this service, especially since it was well over a year since I bought the original programmes. Having made a mess (completely my fault)of downloading the correct version of Windows 7 as an upgrade to my computer, I finished up having and paying for 2 versions of the same operating system. I sent an e mail to customer support on Saturday night explaining my situation , received an automated acknowledgement Saturday night and a friendly email Monday morning letting me know that the whole matter was now resolved. I bought this in the Christmas period the download version as I wanted it quickly ready for when I got back it was quick to install and they give you instructions on how to install it if your not very technically minded. no problems with it at all and the staff are great to if you are having any trouble with the software as I had a few computer troubles and lost the version of Microsoft office and thought I would have to pay for it again but they recent me the links. I bought Microsoft Office 2010 for an amazing price and downloaded it onto my laptop. I then bought a new laptop and downloaded it onto there. About 6 months later I was burgled and my new laptop was stolen. I think it's amazing that software4students are enabling ordinary families to access this fantastic software. We bought it for the household and to support my son's A Level course and when we recently lost our hard-drive and couldn't access our emails due to being hacked, the customer support team responded promptly and kindly allowed us to reinstall the software we had already bought. Bought for the kids and the household, we had teething problem with the 25 digit keys not working for the second install on our new laptop. I bought the Windows 7 and Office pro plus 2010 bundle from S4S in December 2011, and installed onto a clean, brand new machine. Immediately I had problems with both Word and Excel - program dialog boxes were misformed, Excel cells kept disappearing. I looked for fixes on line but didn't find any, so I went back to S4S. What a horrible, horrible company to deal with -- they make Ryanair look like consumer champions. It takes 48+ hours to get a response from the Support e-mail (which is A. unintelligible & B.nothing to do with the issue raised). Try phoning them & you get cut off after listening to three minutes of their sales patter. When you do finally get to speak to someone, they give you the wrong information & then get you off the line as soon as possible. (read more)

My order failed three times with this supplier; their phone line was permanently busy (I will not stay on hold if I am paying for it), and an emailed querry was never answered. Ordered microsoft office professional 2010 for my daughters new lap top. Arrived in 48 hours. loaded it all was ok until I tried to find programmes. Paniced. Thought oh hell, I've been done. I purchased Office 2010 last summer - no problems installing it or working with it. During a windows update my whole laptop was wiped out and I lost all programs including Sony Vaio system. I emailed S4S on Saturday asking if there was any way I could reinstall Office 2010 and the next day got full instructions.
I have learned the lesson that I should copy these programs to a separate disk as well as doing full back ups every now and then.

Elected to have media version of Office and received the discs after 6 days. No installation instructions (disappointing) just 3 discs. I was sceptical at the time that the offer was genuine but was glad I purchased at this offer price as it was one of the biggest and most useful bargains I have ever come across.
