I ordered a Fish R Fun 7 litre hexagonal acrylic aquarium from this company for my sons 11th birthday.The aquarium was heavily bubble wrapped and because his birthday was almost 3 weeks after the delivery date I left it wrapped for him to open. As soon as it was out of the box it was immediately apparent that it was badly scratched, one 5 inch scratch and many small abrasions on the acrylic. I bought the Interpet fishpond 120 from Rocket aquatics at a discounted price, over £100 cheaper than Amazon. I placed the order via the telephone as I work and have limited time off. As promised the couriers phoned prior to the delivery. Date. Ordered 2 Biorbs delivered to the same address. Was given a discount off the cost & still received free delivery. Unfortunately, a couple of extra items were not as ordered, but after an email to them it was rectified straight away to my satisfaction. Ordered the fish r fun 440, 20l aquarium for my daughter as a gift. Delivery time was good but unable to check item till later as I had go to work. On inspection I found it had transit damage inside the packaging. Contacted them over the weekend by email and photos of damage. I ordered a large FRF tank originally, it arrived in bad condition, and after contacting Tony, who evidently is the face of Rocket Aquatics, he refused outright to return my products. I sent him photographic evidence of the scratches inside the tank and chips on the wood, he said it was not 'enough' damage to be returnable. How much damage is 'enough'!? I was less than happy about my purchase at Rocket Aquatics and could not honestly recommend it to anyone. I received my starter kit aquarium and checked everything was in it,then wrapped it up as a present for my boyfriend. We later unwrapped it and began to set it up when we found that the heater was broken, the dial had obviously snapped off during transit and the temperature could not be adjusted or known. NEVER AGAIN !!!! I ordered two silk plants advertised as large 28cms. They arrived today stuffed into a jiffy bag and creased beyond recognition. Measured them from bottom of base to top of longest leaf and one was 21cms and the other 24cms. I paid nearly £12.00 for the two inc p&p. I purchased a £130 Jewel Record aquarium on 20th December 2011 and noticed this morning it is leaking. I called Tony at Rocket Aquatics who from the outset was rude and aggresive. To make matters worse, because I could not afford to send the enormous fish tank back with insurance, it would have cost as much to send it as the item cost - I sent it without insurance and the tank got damaged in transit and destroyed. So no tank and no refund and the awful man at Rocket Aquatics has got off scot free. So I'm now seriously out of pocket and have learnt a VERY HARD lesson. Do not buy anything off the internet that is heavy and fragile if it is the buyers responsibility to pay for the return, and even more importantly do not buy anything off Rocket Aquatics EVER again.

I ordered an aquarium from Seapets and was supposed to inspect it for damage before the delivery man went but I couldn't expect him to wait until I unpacked everything so unpacked it after he went.It was very badly damaged,glass at one side shattered and pieces lying in the bottom of the tank,the lid was snapped right through at one corner.I thought I wouldn't have a leg to stand on as I didn't check for damage before the delivery man left but I phoned Seapets and explained my situation and the lovely helpful assistant asked me to email some pics of the damage and after they received them they emailed me to tell me they were sending me another aquarium and for me to just get rid of the damaged one and keep any accessories that came with it for spares,light,filter,heater and food. I would always buy from them again without having to worry about things being damaged.
First class service and very helpful.

Bought a pendant light around 6 months ago from this company for my new marine tank cost a couple of hundred pounds plus ,unfortunately the actinic lamp does not work anymore and I have tried searching the net and many shops for this particular lamp but it's impossible to find and boy have I tried . Tank sent faulty glass alignment out should of been noticed before sending out as the doors don't shut glass chipped and all in the tank not professional at all considering this is for a living thing it's so poor and from reading the other reviews a lot are damaged.very upset as this will now proberly take another week when people don't have much time off work to sort luckily I have another tank for my lizard to be in not yet called them due to time so cannot comment on customer service but... I ordered a new FrF-777 for my tank. When it arrived it was a cheap Chinese copy that was all smashed up. I emailed them asking for a replacement or refund and was asked to take a digital picture as proof of damage. I emailed a picture and was told to return the item for replacement. When I asked them to pick up the item as it wasn't my fault it was broken on arrival and I shouldn't have to shipping costs, they refused. I had a great experience with this company. I ordered a Jewel Rio 180 which once received was exactly as advertised on their website. I had an issue with the courier(my error)and they were very helpful in rectifying my problem and the item was delivered very quickly. Will definitely be using this company again! Thank You. I ordered a new aquarium, phoning them up to place the order to confirm details to be sure. When it arrived it was not the item from the description or photographs on their website! No apology after phoning, no offer to amend the website just an angry woman telling me to pay to have it returned and they would 'look into it', not even an offer for a refund! I definately agree with the other reviews on this site - there are many other reviews on the internet too, worth looking at. On the face of it a great looking site, but this trader is unhelpful, obviously has no respect for his customers and has no regard for Distance Selling Regulations (see oft website for details on consumer rights) Finally had to turn to my credit card company to get my money back. They had the product in stock it was advertised to be sent out with citylink 2 day service but was actually sent out with a courier called Yodel - they are shocking - terrible reviews of them are all over the net - a week later i'm still waiting for it to arrive.
The company's customer service is good before purchase but rubbish after purchase they're not interested in helping after you've purchased.
Be careful with this one is all i can say.

I couldn't agree MORE with this review. I only wish I had researched more before buying from here. I'm still waiting for a delivery from them after being assured it would arrive on a certain day by courier and which never arrived. The courier service in question this time is DX which also have abysmal reviews on the net. Rocket Aquatics, instead of apologising, merely passed the buck onto their couriers. Disgusting attitude, minimal customer care service and shocking attitude.

thought they were ok. i bought a full bio orb 60 set up with led light,heater and everything. i have used them loads since for ornaments and stuff so all in all have spent lots and lots of money so i was very extremely disappointed when the transformer in my bio orb stopped working after only 5 months and they couldnt care less and wouldnt send a return label they said i have to pay to return the rubbish so you will be fine using them unless something goes wrong then they will be uncaring... As part of the distance service regulations act you dont actually have to supply a returns label, the company also isnt responsible for paying for return especially after 5 months of having a product. You do have to pay for return so I think this is a little unfair as Ive always had great service from them even when my item needed to be replaced. If you went to NEXT and bought an item of clothing that was faulty you would take it back yourself not expect them to pay for return.

To be fair, you've ordered on some fish food. You have, with your 5 stars, put this attrocious comany's star rating up dramatically with your review. That is totally your perogative - but really if a company cannot deliver some fish food efficiently - Well? So great that you are letting innocent customers who want to spend alot of money on items that are a bit more than fish food feel safe.................
