After reporting gas boiler defect very pleasant receptionist got an engineer out promptly.he seemed to have trouble remembering how to fix model,7year old Worcester,took a while to diagnose board needed replacing then reluctant to do so.Told us board could take weeks,actually arrived in about 24 hours.advised boiler seemed to work best not to mess with it too much, it promptly broke down again.when board arrived next day engineer not willing to work Saturday,needless to say neither Sunday, so… Read Full Review

Nearly four weeks ago I had a problem with the blocking of waste pipe in the kitchen. I called the engineer from HomeServe who unblocked it but warned me that this problem will occur again. Last week I again called an engineer and requested that a more experienced engineer should come and give me second opinion about this problem of unblocking the waste pipe. Multiple visits from engineers still did not accurately diagnose and then fix the problem. Eventually partially fixed by outside contractor. Issue still persists but no follow up from Homeserve to ensure all now fixed. Will have to make another call to ask them to come back out. Very impressed with the service. Telephoned to report a leak and an appointment was made for the next day however the home serve engineer phoned within a few minutes saying he could come and look that day if we were at home, great to see that this firm were so keen to sort the problem and were prepared to put themselves out to come as soon as possible. “Worst repair company”

In January this year, I had a fault on my Rangemaster cooker. To date this is still not fixed, YES still not fixed. A catalogue of errors and poor engineers together with Rangemaster who cannot release parts. Do not under any circumstances use this company, they tell you lies and fob you off. They promised me a working cooker for Easter but to date, nothing. I am a disabled lady who loves cooking and has 2 out of 5 rings for over 3 months, nothing short of appalling. The engineer left my boiler broke after a quick "fix". It's been 5 days waiting for a repair, being promised day after day an engineer will visit and replace the broken part. The engineer never arrived and no communication at all - I've had to chase up everyday! After multiple calls i get told he is on route to my property, and after 2 hours i call back and get told they still don't have the replacement part and so can't fix it until next day. The problem has still not been resolved. I've been calling in about this everyday and getting no help! They keep re-booking for next day and same problem occurs. Homeserve useless team blame it on the contractor; "assure maintenance", and they blame it on the supplier saying they misinformed us about the parts. Caught them lying few times - telling me engineer is on his way with the replacement parts, only finding out at the end of the day that they don't actually have the parts. Same story all week. Disgraceful.

This is the worst experience I've had with any company in my life! And the misery is still not over!

“Disgraceful plumber”

We had a blocked toilet. I tried the usual stuff from a hardware shop but it didn't work. I rang Homeserve (my husband is 81 and I am approaching 75) to request a plumber. I rang HOmeserve on the Wednesday afternoon and persuaded you that Wednesday would be appreciated given we only had one toilet. Plumber 1 came in the evening and was so vigorous with the plunger that a) the toilet was jumping up and down and b)there was 'water' spreading over the bathroom floor.
