“Blocked washer drainage pipe”

I report the problem in the morning a time was booked to accommodate my work hour. The engineer rang to say he would be arrive at a certain time and he did. I told him the problem and he got on with. he got the blockage cleared which I am really happy about. I can now use my washer!! The engineer was very courteous and very helpful. Phoned at approximately lunchtime. Promised an engineer between 3.0pm and 4.0pm. Before 5.0pm sewer drain was unblocked! Engineer was extremely pleasant, smart in dress and manner, very polite but chatty and cheerful. We were given advice to help cope if a similar problem arose in future. Took three visits and two missed appointments before problem solved. The plumbers were polite, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. Had to call them back 5 minutes after they left because the blockage recurred. “Repair to overflowing water tank”

Booked job for a morning slot between 8am and 13.00. HS phoned at 8.30 to advise engineer running late and would now be before 16.00. That was fine. Engineer eventually arrived at 15.45, looked at ball-cock in water tank and said he had bent the metal bar and had "fixed" the job. I was NOT happy with this and asked him to replace it. “Leaky pipes and tap”

1st time I've had to call on the policy and the plumber arrived within the given times and traced the leak quickly. I also had a leaky tap fixed at the same time. Polite, courteous and so far the work has been good and no further leaks. I called Homeserve after I bought a house and the boiler wasn't working to take up their offer of £99 to get you up and running and £10.80 per month for 12 months afterwards. Seemed like a fair offer and I wasn’t releasing the prospect of spending the best part of March and April without heating. After reporting gas boiler defect very pleasant receptionist got an engineer out promptly.he seemed to have trouble remembering how to fix model,7year old Worcester,took a while to diagnose board needed replacing then reluctant to do so.Told us board could take weeks,actually arrived in about 24 hours.advised boiler seemed to work best not to mess with it too much, it promptly broke down again.when board arrived next day engineer not willing to work Saturday,needless to say neither Sunday, so… Read Full Review

Nearly four weeks ago I had a problem with the blocking of waste pipe in the kitchen. I called the engineer from HomeServe who unblocked it but warned me that this problem will occur again. Multiple visits from engineers still did not accurately diagnose and then fix the problem. Eventually partially fixed by outside contractor. Issue still persists but no follow up from Homeserve to ensure all now fixed. Will have to make another call to ask them to come back out.
