I will just keep this simple by saying I LOVE LOVE Merlot... that love being the begining of a problem for me. I quit drinking alcohol 4 months ago & have tried several different non-alcohol wines & haven't been to impressed UNTIL this one. I found it very pleasent & the price was exceptional ... My only complaint is I can't find any local store to stock & shipping gets a little costly. (read more)

This is without doubt the worst alcohol free wine I have tasted. As this wine was so bad I have tried mixing it with full alcohol wine but that simply destroys the good wine. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere as there are some quite good alcohol free wines out there now like Torres Natureo for instance. (read more)

If someone tasted this wine at a party and didn't know it had NO alcohol, they would think they were drinking a good red body wine. The problem is, it's very hard to purchase from supermarkets in the west midlands.

You must work for Sutter Home to write a review like this. The only thing warm and dry was the label. Is is smooth, however, just like water. I found the Fre Merlot to be thin, watery and nothing like wine. Well....perhaps the color. Not the very worse I've tried though. That distinction is reserved for the Ariel Dealcoholized Cabernet. After everyone in the room tried it, we poured the rest down the drain.
