Ordered one item which was ok. Then got signed up to book club subscriptions service and gardening subscription!! Never asked or wanted these .. money was taken and I had to get bank to block this company. They are taking advantage of vulnerable people AVOID

“AVOID”

This company clearly has no concern for data protection as they are seemingly refusing to remove my address from their database. I have never shopped here and certainly never would consider it after this. They will not stop sending brochures to my house addressed to the previous owner (averaging 3-4 each month) despite numerous requests via their website, email, social media and by sending the brochures back. After 6 months of sending the brochures back, I asked them to stop sending them to me in September and they told me they would stop after 30 days. After receiving more brochures over 30 days later I asked them to stop again, and they said wait 30 more days, and repeat the next month - we are now into January and another has arrived. The sheer quantity of these brochures (all of which look exactly the same) is ridiculous and each one is covered in a plastic sheet - what a lovely way to destroy the environment. It's a never ending cycle, but from reading the experiences of others on their Facebook page, I can't say I'm too surprised at what is happening. I'm not sure what more I can do to make them take this seriously other than start letting others know to stay away, and I recommend you take a look at the comments on their Facebook page if you're unconvinced.

“Too long a wait”

I ordered 7 items on the 14th September. I wanted to pay 3.00 extra for next day delivery but was told not possible due to covid but goods would be delivered 5 to 7 working days. As at 21st October still waiting for completion of order to be delivered. Other goods all arrived late in dribs and drabs and yet we seem to receive a catalogue at least once a week which I either repost saying return to sender or throw in the recycling bin. Will definitely not be having anything to do with them ever again. I wish I had read all the reviews before ordering as I definitely wouldnt have bothered. They make shocking reading. I will definitely be trying to get unsubscribed from receiving any further junk mail from them which is how I now think of their catalogue. Ebay delivers in just a couple of days and I'm sure Amazon does as well. Emails and letters I have sent all have been completely ignored. What a waste of time bothering and hanging on the end of a phone listening to stupid music.

“DON'T BOTHER”

I agree with all of the above reviews. Ist order I placed a few months ago, I item 'out of stock' - asked if the items IN stock could be sent, with the remainder to follow. They said they 'didn't do that'. Waited 3 weeks. Order came, items not bad quality, some a bit naff. Second order (£175.00), chased after 3 weeks, as I saw that order was 'allocated awaiting picking'. They saw fit to send me another catalogue, BUT NOT THE GOODS! It's now nearly 5 weeks, & after sending them a fairly curt email telling them to take me off the mailing list & that I would not be using them again, had an email saying the order was on its way; but only after the 1st email saying 'problems processing your payment' - sent at the same time! I realise that everyone's been hit by the virus, but if you advertise a service, you should ensure you have the staff to deal with it - VERY POOR MANAGEMENT. NO APOLOGIES, NO VALID REASONS. CUSTOMER SERVICES? - YEAH, RIGHT!

Dreadful company. They dont deliver. Dont answer tracking calls. Dont reply to emails.The only recommendation I can make is dont order anything from them

“Where is my money?”

Sent large order. 69.95. 28th April. Cheque cashed May 6th. Now July 2nd and in spite of many attempted phone calls and emails on my part I have only had a general response to say they do not take money till goods are dispatched. Certainly not true in my case. Money or goods please and some more personal contact with a real person.

“Really bad company”

If I could give zero stars I would! I received my order except the heated massage mat that came too late, no return details inside, sent several emails that remain unanswered, tried to ring twice, 1st time I was no. 87 in the queue, the second time I was no. 121 in the queue. I received a telephone call from them which I still don’t know what it was about but after, they took £1.99 from my account. Again I emailed several times about this and I think because it was titled ‘unauthorised transaction’ I finally got a response & was reimbursed the £1.99 however the second part of the same email was about returning this massage mat which to date they have not responded. I am now stuck with this mat which will never be used as every time I would see it will remind me of this awful, non-responsive company. My advice is to look elsewhere for your item .

“Terrible Company”

They took an unauthorised amount from my credit card. I have requested they refund the money. I don't hold out much hope. The only thing I can do is to change my credit card as they are untrustworthy. HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY!

“Absolute trickery avoid this company”

If you buy from Easylife, beware. They will pass your details and your card details on to their sister company the so called CAR CLUB. you will then find yourself £60 out of pocket because they will have persuaded you into NOT saying yes to the car club and then take the money from your account. They fail to send any paperwork. Do nothing when you phone them and put the blame on a call center they use. EASY LIFE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR COMPANY, THE WHOLE COMPANY. disgraceful. Read the reviews about the car club.

“Avoid this company and save money ”

I bought a so-called Deluxe Shoe Ottoman Bench which allegedly holds 9 pairs of gents' shoes. Well, yes, I imagine it does if they're small size narrow flip-flops. I take size 8 and at most I've been able to fit in 5 pairs, and that was with difficulty, using only the top and bottom shelves or putting shoes in sideways. It hasn't been easy to close with shoes on the top shelf. On removal shoes have been scuffed. I tried all sorts of combinations of shelf positions but it's made no difference. Was the photo in the catalogue photoshopped? What I have is an expensive box with a cushioned top which never comes near Deluxe and is not fit for purpose. Delivery was supposed to be on a Friday so we made arrangements to be in, only to arrive home on Thursday to find it left in our porch. When unpacked a piece of the veneer had come off a panel but luckily it was on the interior surface so doesn't show. The assembly instructions were imprecise, unclear and vague. Some of the screw heads were soft and soon went out of shape. I should've read the reviews first! All in all, a waste of money and I'll never use this company again.

“AVOID at all costs”

Ordered 24/11/2017. Wrong colour. Replaced with wrong size. Refund doesn't materialize. 1st call to help line - once I managed to get through! - seemed helpful. Replacement to be sent. Replacement wrong size. 2nd torturous call to helpline transpires item requested out of stock! Refund agreed. e mails to help line go without response. Refund of payment taken 2 days after ordered still awaited 05/01/2018. Send wrong item then ignore correspondence so that they hang on to your cash. Do not shop here.

“Bad products, awful customer service”

My 79-year old auntie bought an item from the company, it turned out too heavy for her to even move around the kitchen, so sat where the delivery driver left it. Tried getting the company to remove it, several calls and emails later they still refuse to do it, saying the item is not faulty. Well, being so heavy, it's a health hazard in the kitchen, and the weight wasn't shown in the catalogue. Item was paid for by cheque, yet they demand an upfront payment for removing it as well. My requests to escalate the request to a manager in charge fall on deaf ears. This is the worst customer service I encountered for a long time. The company clearly is not interested in retaining customers.

“Worst Company Ever”

So id like to start off by saying i ordered a ''talking watch'', after 3 long waiting weeks this parcel arrived over my back gate. I brought the soggy parcel inside and opened up, to find out the piece of rubbish doesnt even talk, so i sent it back. Again i waited 3 weeks to recieve a phone call to say my replacement was on its way off a lady who sounded like she was scoffing sugar puffs as she was talking to me. I do give companies chances but after the third week of waiting i decided to visit this warehouse in sittingbourne to politely ask for my parcel i had paid for, only i got welcomed with jubba the hut on a fork lift and a little oumpa lumpa by its side whom told me that i was unable to collect from them at this particular time as they were "busy", so busy that half of the company were eating there crisps or smoking. Its quite clear to me its a company full of useless idiots, that could not run a mash up in a brewary. God forbid they call me back and ask if i want there latest hose holder because ill go down there and shove it up jubba the huts backside. Useless mongs, as for this review banning swearwords, this is all you hear when you visit the warehouse, joker company.

Visited my 80 yrs old brother, double heart by-pass, cancer, living alone. Found him quite distressed after receiving phone call badgering him to join Irish lottery. After some time on phone he gave them his bank card details. This caller told him the call had been generated by details given to them by Easylife. Same day he received a letter from a company called Safe2motor, which told him £1.99 was being processed for a trial of saving and services on motor vehicles. It stated that if the offer was not cancelled within 14 days a further £59.99 would be charged. As he does not own a motor vehicle and the thought of £59.99 being taken from his account he was quite upset. I phoned this company on his behalf and to their credit, after explaining they cancelled immediately with apologies. When I asked where this offer originated again, I was told his details had been passed by Easylife. Immediately cancelled his card with the bank. After emailing Easylife twice I have not received a reply. IF ANYONE IS THINKING OF BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY, DON'T. YOUR DETAILS WILL BE PASSED ON TO ALL AND SUNDRY.

“Mop set”

“Extremely poor product and aftersales service”

I purchased a plant pot trolley from this company. Part No: 4737. I assembled it and tried to use it on a medium sized pot and the product proved useless. 1. The plant pot grabber fell apart everytime I tried to adjust it. 2. The bottom arms were not adequately designed or long enough to hold even a medium sized pot safely. 3. The wheel axles were very thin, did not fit the wheel apertures snuggly enough and causing the wheels to wobble from side to side 4. The axles were bent out of shape because they were not strong enough. A return and refund was authorised by their customer service department and I paid £5.00 for Yodel to collect the parcel for return on 6th June.It is now Friday 9th June The parcel remains uncollected. THREE emails to them remain unanswered. I would thoroughly dissuade anybody to buy this product or use Easylife Group in future.

“Archaic!!”

I have used his company three times for products I couldn't find anywhere else. Each time the products have turned out to be fine, but the delivery service is slow and archaic, communication is non-existent and customer service department is a joke! They really need to get themselves into the 21st century and dump the 'horse and cart' delivery service.

“My Second and final review of this hopeless company”

In my first review we were still hoping to receive our order but we have now given up and wait with trepidation to see how long our refund takes. Our order was placed over 2 months ago. we have contacted the company over this period and repeatedly told that the order was 'picked' and would be delivered in 3 to 5 days. Excuses included 'out of stock' though we see the same items still in their latest catalogue. We have had to wait over 45 minutes to get through on the phone. THIS IS WITHOUT DOUBT THE WORST COMPANY WE HAVE DEALT WITH EVER!!

“non deliveryof goods”

having ordered goods on the 28th January phoned up 3 times only to be told 1st waiting for an item to come in accepted that but having been told that the goods are waiting to be collected from warehouse still no delivery. My money has been taken from my account so I require my order please, I keep getting put off by saying "they should be with you by Friday" told this 3 times I want either my goods or a true reason why they have not been sent out.

I am in the same position, ordered and paid 14/1/17. My last contact I was told they have problems with the stock levels on the computer system the sales people use - the stock records they see and not correct - so they think they are in stock but might not be(?). If they "show" as in stock (even if they are not) they will take your payment if you use a card. My 3 items all turned out to be out of stock even though I have been given dates for delivery, told they have been packed up and finally not in stock and have not been for a "long time". Stock is expected on 7/4/17 for this item. Response to phone calls is abysmal, emails takes days / weeks to get a reply from and even sending 1st class mail to the director gets you nowhere.
So as for a true reason why they have not been sent is probably they are not in stock! Good Luck with your order.

Ditto. Still waiting for my order after despite emailing. Refuse to send part order so despite buying £200 of goods I am not important to Easilife. Would never recommend this company

I have returned a 2 seater furniture protector on 26 October to exchange for the larger 3 seater size, and I am still waiting! I have rung several times, no satisfaction given, told 2-3 weeks then they hang up! I realise it will be £5 extra for the larger size. Postage should be free as it is an exchange. P.S no answer to my emails from them either. Can anyone help me?

You can cancel order without charge. Money is taken from card only on despatch of goods. Just contact pathetic.customer service by phone(min20 hold) they seem to understand the word cancel if you insist on it. Have waited 6 weeks for non delivery. So cancelled order and found same items on E.bay cheaper and next day delivery. Did this yesterday. Goods despatched yesterday or today delivery tomorrow, all tracked and emailed to confirm each stage. Dont use this company. Zero star rating.
