I ordered a johnnie Walker gold they sent the wrong whiskey so they sent another one which was alao wrong so I sent both back for a refund they said both bottles were opened and not full NOT BUY ME think it was there wearhouse men who got told off so they would not refund me my £87 BEWARE SO NOT BUY SONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU

Ordered two bottles, one for myself and one for a present. The one intended as a gift to my surprise had a free glass in a boxset... On further inspection, the glass had smashed (presumably via their courier, wouldn't be surprised if it was broken before it was wrapped though to be fair). Small shards of glass fell onto my bedding and rug where my two year old plays, I contacted them, with pictures, yet their customer 'service' could only "offer their utmost apologies". Now I don't care about losing a glass that I never intended to buy, what I DO care about is the sheer disregard for their customers, delivering a DANGEROUS item that I was unaware of. Imagine if I had given that present without checking and my friend had cut themselves on it, I would be mortified and do more than just offer my utmost apologies. DISGUSTING, VILE, INCONCEIVABLY HEARTLESS AMATEUR BUSINESS! Stay well away. They do not deserve your money!

Ordered some cocktails for a party as I had been given a promo code to use, everything showing in stock on the website but then I get a call an HOUR after it was supposed to have been despatched to say they "discovered" they don't have stock. Even today the stock shows as being there on their website - absolutely shoddy, no way I'd use these people if I had an urgent or specific need.

I had a question about an item i was considering so I contacted the team. Their response was rude and abrust and I was told to 'Google it yourself' when I informed them i thought it was a little rude I was told I was speaking to a manager. I will never use them again after this. Disgusting.

Having ordered two bottles on December 19th to be delivered before Christmas for presents, and paying extra for the 'guaranteed delivery', I received an email on December 23rd saying that due to the volume of orders, that I would receive my bottles on Christmas Eve by Royal Mail 24hr delivery. I didn't. I received an email on the 28th saying that I was going to get a full refund within 5 days. No apology or explanation. Had they told me that they were too busy to fulfil orders, I would have gone elsewhere. Truly appalling customer service. I would not recommend, nor use again.

Placed my order on the 11th dec. stated delivery 3-5 days yet nothing has been delivered. Customer service person replied saying is out for delivery a week later and goods shall be delivered today 22nd. Guess what? No goods! I'm not surprised by the reviews I've seen. Please don't be tricked and don't use this company. I Really hope that my refund I requested will be done asap so I can just go to asda and by it myself.

Ordered a crate of Nigerian Guinness foreign extra and Dublin Guinness foreign extra was delivered in error. I sent a photo showing the product they had sent me which was 5 pounds cheaper per crate. They sent me an email back saying I was wrong and that it was the new label for the nigerian version. I phoned up and explained and eventually they agreed to refund me the difference. However since then I have had no reply by email and no refund has been made. Avoid this company.

I don't normally review but when i was looking to order from drinksupermarket, i saw a few bad reviews that almost put me off ordering, so thought i'd add one to share my good experiences too! I ordered 42 bottles of ciroc vodka for a wedding party and i have received them all in top condition! Delivery did take 4 days, which isn't too bad unless you're in a real rush, and we tried a bottle of the vodka as well to check the quality and the taste and its perfect. All in all, great service (i did speak to customer services on the phone) and good product delivered in a timely manner!

Received special offer email showing some decent savings to drag you in.. ordered Whisky and took payment only to be mailed following day saying not available and offering non discount/uplifted price alternative...... This is a ploy to get customers suckered in through promotion of stock not acually available then expect to swap for full price alternative after payment taken...!!! otherwise upto 10day to refund.. do NOT order from them....!!! you have been warned...BEWARE!!!!

After enjoying a few bottles of Barefoot Merlot from Sainsburys and Waitrose I decided to order 12 bottles from Drinksupermarket. The taste of the wine in these bottles was nowhere near as good as the supermarket versions. I contacted Drinksupermarket via their web contact form but 2 weeks later there is still no reply. I'll be back down the local supermarkets next time.

Recently order from these for a birthday present before xmas. The product arrived and looked as expected (I have had the same whiskey before). However, after giving the gift and opening the bottle the whiskey (bruichladdich black art) it was clear that it was a cheaper whiskey in the bottle. Having tried the brand a number of times before I reported the problem to customer services who refused to take it further as the bottle had been opened and refused to tell me whether a negative review would be removed from the site on purpose. All I was told was to talk to the distillery who have never caused me problems before and who I have ordered from previously and had it not been for the discount in the price I would have done so again. If you wish to guarantee what you are getting please go elsewhere as both the product and the service has not been up to standard. Next time I will pay more and order directly.

Now I ordered a 6 litre bottle of belvedere and paid by Paypal, I needed it by NY eve and after calling in they tell me payment has been held by paypal????? I checked my account and it was taken from my account quite a few days ago so why was I not informed? This has just ruined my plans for NYE and I'll be rushing around to try fix the problem they caused.

Mrs Hearts.. You at righty so to write a review. At end of day this is how us customers look for company's that have a good customer service & reputation. I myself have a business and it's customer service that allows our customers to come back time & time again. If they had rectified the problem then you wouldn't be writing a review!!! And for the absolute naka who states 'get over it' you muppet! You can clearly see this was a for a charity event!!! Something the £19 delivery charge would have been better suited in there pockets! This lady has every write to make a review that's what it's for der!!! If he's not getting the customer service required... Can I also point out while your typing the insult it seams you like to have a few drinks yourself! I suggest you crawl back under with your bottle of tequila! Ps.. Would be very different if they took £19 of you. Can you imagine how more pist you could get with that eh!!! Probably another government scrounged scrounger! Total muppet!

Ordered 350 miniatures for a charity event as table gifts on next day delivery. Order place Monday night at 00.45am so I would expect delivery Wednesday paid 19.00 for this service. Rand Wednesday to find out where it was after taking the day off to be told they hadn't processed it. I said ok but I must have it on Friday, I'm not at home Thursday. It turns up Thirsday afternoon!!! Hopeless and refusing to pay back delivery charges when they certainly didn't fulfill the requirements. Steer clear plenty of others to choose from!!!

I use these guys all the time, never had an issue. I suppose with ALL businesses there are glitches once in a while. To my experience this company has provided me with excellent service over and over again. Unfortunately for you, you had an issue. Tough, It happens. Get over it. Don't dismiss a business and write malicious things about it for one minor issue. Drinksupermarket all the way for me. My days of lugging home chunky litre bottles of JD and Tequila are finally over, home delivery all the way! Keep up the good work Mr and Mrs Drinksupermarket.

I tried to buy a Jeroboam of Lanson Champagne. Went through the process of inputting all my details and tried to pay and it failed. I received an order reference number and put a request in for advice no response! I then followed up with an email and no reply. The item I tried to buy has been marked as out of stock now and I have still had no reply. Save your money and if you have to pay more it's worth the few pounds to avoid the bother and worry. Still waiting for a reply and still don't know if I will be charged or not or if my item will arrive.

I final received a reply and was contacted by a member of your customer services team a few days after the order was placed and the email was sent. The emails I received had little information within them and no clear direction that would assist to resolve the problem. They didn’t look very professional and didn’t seem to tie in with the look and feel of your website. This made me feel very uneasy. Eventually I was advised the order had been placed on hold as the payment had failed. The failed payment wasn't an issue on my part.
I confirmed I would like to continue with the order ASAP as it was for an occasion. I was told I would be sent a payment gateway link. This link was not sent for a further 48 hours. The order was needed that weekend, due to all the slow reply times and lack of process and advice on how best to resolve the issue the process took far too long.
Sadly in this instance I felt let down by your company, poor customer service processes with a clear lack of urgency towards resolving customers problems.

Interesting... I found I was charged close to £40 yesterday by these guys, yet I've never heard of the business until now. I've had my card cancelled and reported this company to my bank's fraud team. Sounds like they've taken this, as their new business model :(

UPDATE!
I managed to call through, and the kind lady had already noticed the transaction as there were a series of orders placed at the same time to be delivered to the same person, yet each order had a different billing address.
I had a pleasant experience calling and speaking to them. I haven't placed an order with them, so I can't comment on what that aspect of the business is like.
