Good Points: I top my phone up to 50 pounds a month too expensive.

Bad Points: I have had this number for two years had nothing but problems.

General comments: Customer service didn't resolve the problem, of the restriction on my phone not to be able to receive in-coming calls.I paid the bill of 30 pound also topped up a further 20 pounds altogether making it 50 pounds. They promised me the bar would be removed in 24 hours i waited 26 hours before i phoned fresh custmer services i then got told to wait another 5 working days.I am not happy with the service i have had nothing but hassle with the fresh network.I would be grateful if you would put the service back on my phone a.s.a.p I have given this number to many people seen as i have had it for over two years.Thankyou

I bought a sim from Carphone Warehouse's Fresh Freedom and tried to port my number over, didn't work, rang customer service, useless, went back to local shop and they rang and gave me a new date for porting, didn't happen. Went back to shop again the guy in the shop spent over an hour on the phone being transfered back and forth between different departments, even he lost his rag with them in the end and asked for their names so he could report them. They finally gave up on the original sim and ...

Cheap tariff, seems to work in most places including west of Scotland and north Wales. No problems experienced from day one and now had both the phone and used this tariff for almost five years.

Useful that you pay by direct debit and don't need to top-up the phone as I understand you do with lots of other tariffs.

    No complaints.

I find the Carphone Warehouse Fresh Freedom tariff is a great no-frills service, with very good PAYG rates, and some of the roaming rates are also excellent.

The only drawbacks are that in my area the T-Mobile network it uses has some holes, and if you run out of credit you cannot phone the automatic top-up service from your phone.

I bought a v220 on Fresh from the Carphone Warehouse site. On the Fresh web site it says don't connect your phone if you want to keep your old number. I left the sim in the box, rang them up with my Virgin mobile PAC and I was told the Fresh sim is activated at point of purchase. I emailed them asking for a non-activated one and got a robotic reply and I went to a Carphone Warehouse shop who couldn't help ANYWAY, I went home, stuck my original Virgin sim card in and it worked! The Fresh mobile w ...

Fresh Freedom is the worst mobile provider I've ever dealt with! Bought a SIM from the Carphone Warehouse and then tried to port my existing number. Total nightmare. Fresh didn't get a thing right and in the end I just gave up and asked for THEM to give me a new port number so I could go elsewhere.

Same problem here. Fresh Freedom took weeks to port a number over from Vodafone which left me without any service during the transfer. The guy in the shop was good - loads of tenacity but back at the Carphone Warehouse were unhelpful in the extreme.

I made the mistake of signing up to Fresh Freedom from the Carphone Warehouse on the monthly contract tariff. It is the worst mobile experience I have ever had. Right from the start they got it wrong, and I ended up without a phone at all for 10 days while they ported my numbers (it's never taken this long any other time I have swapped network). I got itemised bills that I specifically declined, and I did not get the text bundle I requested, but used the text assuming that I had them in a bun ...

I switched to Fresh from Vodafone pay as you go. It took 4 weeks to complete the transfer and unblock the phone. 2 of them I was still with Vodafone, and 2 weeks with a blocked Fresh phone. Another 2 months to set the voice mail, I basically spent 20 pounds with calls to the support line to set up it. Very bad service until I found someone in the customer support who was able to fix it. The credit expires without warning, blocking the line and not being able to increase it unless you access to a ...

It's pretty unreliable, countless occasions you ring up for credit give all your details and you still don't get credit so you end up phoning up to see why not. and even then you might not get through the customer services. The 0800 number is apparently free however it charges your mobile so if you don't have credit you can't call it unless you use a landline. You can't find out your exact credit, it's never accurate... it's sooo unreliable.

This service is terrible. I arranged to be connected on a certain date when my other provider contract ended. Suddenly my phone was cut off and my provider informed me that Fresh had had it disconnected. I was landed with the bill from my old provider although I had no service for a month while I tried to get Fresh to send me my new SIM card and get my new account started up. They also charged two mysterious debits to my account during this time, which I'm still trying to get them to explain, le ...

The Carphone Warehouse's Fresh Freedom Tariff offers excellent service which is cheep, with free voice mail. Starts with a £25 monthly bill limit which is paid by Direct Debit every month. The limit can be changed to what ever you want and so if you don't turn it off it will limit any child's usage of the phone.
It works with any T-Mobile phone but I paid £10 at the local market to get my orange phone unlocked and put the sim in it.

The Carphone Warehouse's Fresh Freedom Tariff suits me down to the ground as a light user who needs to be available to my clients.

I bought this tariff the the Carphone Warehouse for my teenage daughter as I wanted to avoid big bills. After about 6 months, her phone stopped working. On contacting Fresh, I was told I had a bill of nearly 200 pounds to pay! Apparently, the system which keeps track of credit can't cope with text messages (just right for a tariff aimed at teens, eh?). I paid up. Six months later - it did it again! And now, it has happened for the third - and final - time. After writing this review, I'm going to ...

I brought a phone on the Fresh network as an XMAS present for my Daughter. We did not want to go for the direct debit option, so when the £15 we put on to get her started ran out, she went into the Carphonewharehouse to add £5 credit. We waited for 12 hours, and she still could not use the phone. I went back to the shop to be told that when the credit runs out, it is possible to use the phone for 48 hours for emergencies. During this 48 hours, £6.18 worth of calls were made (wh ...

At first glance, Fresh Freedom network from The Carphone Warehouse would appear to offer the ideal mobile phone package and seems to be an alternative to Pay As You Go
However the system has fatal flaws when trying to ascertain how much balance you have remaining. You call a free phone number which in turn sends the balance back as a text message. All good you might think until you discover that this balance information is not at all accurate - Fresh are a Virtual Network piggybacking on th ...
