I bought a Paolo Mark E flat clarinet as I play one only occasionally, with younger pupils starting on the John Packer instrument. That is good but lacks certain keys and for a serious clarinettist the Paolo Mark, having full keywork, is better. The Mechanism needed adjustment on arrival but after that had been done I was impressed. I'll probably change the plastic mouthpiece; it's OK but I prefer ebonite. I bought a Paolo Mark 'Bb' Clarinet on www.guitar-warehouse.com I had played clarinet as a child and recently took it up again. I wanted something that didn't cost the earth but had a reasonable sound and was nice to play. The Paolo Mark hit the spot. It is well constructed with a black ebonite finish.
