Within minutes I received a confirmation e mail and before 5 pm a further e mail to say it had been despatched and would be delivered by courier within 2 days. Saw a bed I really loved on eBay, and the price was like a give away. I thought 'cheap tat' but I phoned to try to find out more. They assured me it was made of solid wood, and was a quality item - they seemed to know their product. The bed head is lovely nice and chunky. We did have a problem in trying to have the head above the bed as it is quite heavy. It really looks the part, it was what I was actually looking for. All I have to moan about is the delivery on this I was not happy, I had to be in the house two days it did not arrive, it came the next day latter on in the afternoon. 3 days stuck in the house not a good idea. My 13year old daughter bought this bed with her pocket money, we were a bit sceptical as it was really cheap but went along with what she wanted. Don't buy a bed from Bedstreet, I purchased a bed the quality of which was extremely poor after a short time it collapsed the wood split it caved in and was dangerous, very poor workmanship it is rubbish. I sent a picture of the fault by email and contacted Bedstreet the person who answered was rude and aggressive did not want to know. Ordered a bed for my daughter in mid January 2013. Bed duly arrived the next day. On opening noticed footboard badly damaged, rusted and dis-coloured. Did not open rest of packaging at this time, as saw no point. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!!! Rang back with concerns and new footboard was delivered next day. Ordered and paid for the Victoria bedstead via their website on 27th November 2012. Chased them up on 3rd December as I hadn't heard about delivery. A child was manning the phone. To be fair someone did call me back later in the afternoon but that person lied - telling me they'd sent an email telling me it was out of stock and that they'd refunded my money.
