“3 attempts to resolve a flat tyre!?”

★☆☆☆☆

written by rs0001 on 14/07/2016

Took bike in wth a flat tubeless that they had installed previously, and also asked if they could adjust the alfine hub gear as it was slipping. The tyre was deflating every few days but had no sgn of a puncture. A few hours later they said bike was ready for collection and that all they needed to have done was pump up the tyre. I chose to leave it another day as I knew the tyre wold be flat. I weht to collect and they presented me my 'fixed' bike and wanted payment. It had a flat. I declined to pay and asked they revisit their fix, and woild collect next day. The following day they called in the morning to say it was fixed and that all they did was pjmp it up again. I left it to the end of the day. This time they realised they actually needed t reseal the tyre because it had gone flat again during the day. With it now inflated I paid for the tyre fix and the gear adjuatment and left. I gt 300yrds and the gears were now slipping even worse than when I took it in. I needed the bike so went home and decided tk have a go myself. After reading the shimano manual it turns out they had completely misaligned the selector, and it only took me 5 minutes to fix. The cheeky sods had charged me £8 for making it worse!!! utter shambles
