“Good but not great”

Black ops had a brilliant story....but with most of the call of duty games this only amounts to about 5-6hours game play. The real value is the Online Gaming although i would of liked to have some modern guns....but i guess this adds to the 60's/70's feel of warfare. Where this game lacks is the Single player campaign and the amount of maps online. (read more)

Call of Duty: Black Ops

The eagerly anticipated release of Call of Duty: Black Ops had big expectations to live up to from fans of the previous games. This these big expectations were mostly down to the success of the previous and fantastic game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I have been a COD player for several generations of the game. I like Black Ops but it is probably not my favorite version. It has kept me entertained though and will be a good holdover for COD fans until the next version. I like the maps but an not a big fan of the weapons or the purchase of perks system. Some of the new perks and options are cool though. (read more)

Every year activision releases a call of duty using either Infinity Ward or Treyarch as there producers. I was always a fan of Treyarch especially World at War so was looking forward to this title immensley especilly with the flop that was MW2! I booked release day of work and headed straight for online multiplayer with a friend. I was devestated. I thought it was a good game with a story that was believable.
Better than CODmw2 and I liked the combat training that was missing in CODmw2
I liked the return of the zombies that were better than world at war the last WW2 call of duty game online play is with good maps and I liked Nuke town.
I didnt like the lenght of story as it was a bit short but overall another good instalment of the COD franchise (read more)

“black ops is not quite as good a mw2 but is is still a...”

black ops is not quite as good a mw2 but is is still a good game. Such thing as the campaign does not have as good sneak missions and certain things in online and is is hard to understand at first, also the snipers are craaaappp on online. But other wise it is a good game, it is great that the have included nazi zombies and more features! i would recommend buying it! thanks for reading! (read more)
